Thanks Hans Peter! Are you coming from Germany? Does this mean that Gorbad will have to give up his most travelled status? Look forward to seeing you make your debut :)

Cheers

Hi

actually, I´m a German, but I live and work in Dublin currently ... So, I´ll travel from from Dublin to Manchester ... Don´t know if that´s enough to beat Gorbad's travelling distance ... :)

Lauth.. I don't think you should visit Manchester... the Waterbowl tournament isn't much fun really... ;)

EDIT: Never mind, I see you're dropping in from Dublin :P

And yes Leipziger, I'd love to stay with you two again if the bed's available!

You do, so I can see whether I like them enough to make me think they're worth me paying to get them painted well (like yours) or just do my usual work on them.

Well i have taken off the mold lines and stuff but after a good close look at the models the surfaces aint as smooth as i thought. I now have to pick between:

a.) Just paint them and hope they dont look to bad as they are.
b.) Smooth the body down on each model.
c.) Add greenstuff to them to cover up the areas that need covering.

Having the full rosta means this could be alot of time spent 'smoothing' things out :-?

The tournament is practically sold out now, we only have about 3 places left (final cut-off tba tonight). So, if you are wanting to attend the Waterbowl Weekender, time is running out....

In other news, I heard yesterday that our fabulous CD cover and track listing will be completed very very soon. It is looking reeeeaaaallly good :) Probably time to start burning the CDs, I guess :o

I very much like Harriet's analysis of the runners and riders at the Poo Bowl. Anyone want to try and pick a winner of the Waterbowl? Lowsman is due after being runner-up for the last two years, but there are plenty of other strong players coming. No one has managed to take the title twice, so the pressure will be on Brendan...

Cheers

Yeah it was a good idea by Harriet (not just saying that cos she tipped me  ).

Might just catch on. I'll certainly do one for Monkeybowl...

Before Game 1 - we are going to do the draw for the legacy team, to see who wins it. So, if you have painted a figure and you fancy playing with the team if you win it, then it might be worth bringing a dwarf roster and we can see the Waterbowl dwarves in action!

By the way, does anyone have any ideas for a name for the team?

'The Mancunian Underminers'?

Cheers
