Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

I am planning to attend-
I will be in Europe and have made arrangements to travel there and for a place to stay.

I have the IBAN for the 40 euro payment, but I can not get it to work- I've spoken to my bank's customer service and they do not know why it won't work- they think likely the number is incorrect or that I also need the actual bank account number in addition to the international banking number.

Please hold a spot for me while I figure this out? I've already made my return flight to the US to be after this event, so am committed to attending.

Direct Email sent as well.

habasta, thanks for the "transfer" and Gute Besserung!

Is anyone else arriving early and interested in a get-together on Friday night? Trash-talk and Altbier?

So guys (and ladies),

we are sold out! So unless you have been in contact with me, there are no starting positions left.

We have 100 Pre-Registrations and I want to thank you!

You will of course remember to send me your teamroster/ -details (Teamname, your name, Race and positions)...

Cheers
Sascha

Thanks Traveller! Will be cool to meet you as well.

Yes, the all-GW minis threw a wrench in plans for most of my teams.
I've been out of the country for February, and brought a couple teams with me to paint- 2nd ed skaven and a converted high elf team- but as things tend to go, I didn't get much of any time for personal painting this trip. That leaves me with my 2nd ed Orc team ready to take the pitch. Only the most minor of conversions, and not a flashy paintjob for them (doesn't really catch the eye from across a room so I have no illusions about the paitning contest, just want to enjoy the event and push some loved orcs around for a couple days)- I painted them in a style I've been getting into lately, muted unsaturated colors and drab metal, but I like them :orc:

I was tempted to commit to the high elves or skaven, to have a new team, but didn't want to risk not finishing them in time.

I'll be around for the week before- arriving tonight actually, would be cool to meet some people before if that's something some will be doing.

Well it might be for the Dungeonbowl.

The NAF have collated lots of information for the Majors and will be publishing it in the next couple of weeks.

The Dungeonbowl record attendance is 98 (2005) but normally gets between 80 and 90 odd. Perhaps it will make the full 100 this time. Of the Majors, only the BB/NAFC has a higher attendance record (and possibly only a handful of tournies have made it to 100 ever).

This is the 10th Dungeonbowl - so that's also cause for celebration. I wonder if anyone has been to then all?

As for other Majors, there have also been 10 Chaos Cups (Chicago, USA), 11 Cancons (Canberra, Australia), 9 Spikes! (Toronto, Calgary & British Columbia, CAN), 10 Bloodbowls/NAF Championships (Nottingham, UK) and the one Bloodbowl Resurrection in 2002 (also in Nottingham, UK - the tournament that re-ignited the tournament scene and GW's support of it with Majors).

That makes this the 51st Major.
