Hmmm, recently the new area manager asked us to stop using 3rd party mini's on a thursday night. "Not an issue," I said, "your shop, your rules. But what about my tourny? I know a lot of people dont use, or even own GW figs. Can they still be used then?" His reply, "As it will be a private function, then yes, the use of 3rd party figures is ok." Or something to that effect.

So, yes, use what ever minis you wish to. I only ask that the players and positions are distinct. EG one of my players has made a chaos team from Ungors and Gors, and I cant tell them apart, so I've asked him to make sure the paintwork is very distinguisable.

On the issue of getting some pics of the prizes up, Mrs Lunchmoney took a whole load of photos, but the forum is having issues with loading them up, either from imageshack or photobucket. As the extent of my effort stops there, I'll just leave a link to dropbox with the pics. If you want to see them, you can take a look. Or you can leave it as a surprise :)

I have found out today that the chinese restaurant I was planning to take you all to has closed down. So I've booked us in at a Nepalese/Indian all-you-can-eat restaurant instead.

Mr Lunchmoney... Gaz and Mike cant make it, neither can Dave Hall I'm afraid...

But I'm DEFinately there...

BUT I am hoping to sort a LIFT from the Sussex area ...is anyone is going A27 way PLEASEE!!!? I can Contribute to your diesel...

And hoping to sleep on someone's floor on saturday, or else will maybe try tenting or sleeping in my motor...

On a Shoestring budget I'm afraid, Sept is Both my 4 Year Olds and the Wifes Birthdays so I'm unfortunately Captain Skinto...

SO cannot afford the Cheerleader outfit I'm afraid, but will bring Thruds mighty helmet ...

How much is the Meal likely to be? And can we bring our own booze? And is Meths or Turpentine cheaper in Poole?

Is it worth me bringing some evening games (Zombies / Weed card Game / Perudo / The BRGA Drinking Games?), some of the residual Thrudball Merchandise maybe please?

Am Cycling 14 miles a day to work and back just so I can afford EXILES...

Looking forward to it matie!!

Also I'm going to donate one of our BRGAbabe Cheerleader Vinyl Boards (Worth £36) and three sets of Red Thrud Block Dice (Worth £11 Each set) for you to use as prizes (well it is Rise of the Cheerleaders)...

I've got till January to Pay Roy Castle the amount raised at Thrudball, so I'll be able to afford this by then...

Read this whole thread and now regretting not having a cheerleader costume handy...

...perhaps can find something in charity shops...?

Ru-Ha-HA!!!

The new restauant, irrc, is £12.95 per person, all you can eat. I dont think they'd appreciate bring in your own booze.
Gaz=Stunty Gaz?
Mike= Raggy
Dave Hall=Dutty Dave?
If I've guessed persons real names correctly that means we have one more place available and I own Dave £12 :)
Frank, I'm sure one of my lads can find space, or if not, if you dont mind sharing my lounge floor/sofas with another (there's room for two :) easily) you can stop at mine.

Nepalese sounds great. Are there other options aside from the all you can eat?
