Just got back. I had an awesome time. Won most casualties with 24 scored overall. The mighty blow/piling on snow Troll (Captain Chaos as Stan Richardson calls him ) accounted for half that number by himself and even scored 5 against Rob J Butlers Darkies!

Absolutely superb weekend had, and just a pity silly things like work and real life meant no option of staying on. Hoomin was, as ever, the bestestest host on the circuit and everyone who makes the effort to get there is rewarded ten fold in the experience.

Fri - drank a full bottle of vodka

Sat - felt like death. Got truly diced off Valen, played like a chump at times (most times) but Eldril got me out of Dodge

Sun - alternated between chump mode and brilliance, sometimes even in the same turn! Let a 2-0 lead go (vs Jimanys Skaven) then pulled a 2-0 loss back (vs Sticks Woodies) then ultra shenanigans in the final game meant three 2-2 draws. Drove 5.5 hours home. Collapsed

what a great weekend had some really good games and i thought i did okay with humans 1/3/2,and as always rob you are the best host around and i will be there next year for another great albabowl weekend,and as geoff said viva alba.

Great event again, one of the best. Thanks to Rob and everyone else for their incredible hospitality, with as much food and beer as we could consume. You guys really are great. Thanks to all my opponents for the games too.

Thanks all for coming. It was brilliant having you all there. Thanks must go to Bum Monkey for bringing up the Foreman Grill. It was a Godsend in preparing breakfast for 30 people each morning.

It was a valiant attempt, but the Homebrew won for the 4th year in a row.
Well done to everyone. And the Alba is finally international with Kfoged from Denmark turning up. Tho i don't think he was expecting to have to help make breakfast in the mornings.
