The NAF trophy is now with its rightful owner (Hellboy_), and painted up in tournament colours. Cheers to Lycos for sending it through.
Seems to have gone down well, so I’ve had it NAF sanctioned for September 12th, next year.

Re: Foul Bowl 3, September 14th, Swindon *Hellboy_ winner*
Hello folks. A couple of people have messaged asking if this will be running in 2020. I’d applied for NAF sanctioning right after the last one, so it’s in the diary for Saturday 12th September, but I haven’t done much with it since, due to the COVID-19 situation. So, I wanted to see if there would be enough interest to make it viable and, if so, start working on putting something together.
We’re fortunate enough that Firestorm here in Swindon has been able to reopen The Battlefields (its bookable playing table space), and I’ve actually used it once already to play a game of 40k.
Speaking to Glyn, the manager at Firestorm, he’s happy for us to have the whole two floors of playing space (was just the first floor, last year), giving plenty of safe space for up to twenty attendees. There would be no communal area, but there wasn’t one last year and people seemed to do fine.
So, are people interested in something for mid-September? I know it’s very easy to say yes and then forget all about it, so I’d appreciate honesty rather than politeness, just to save doing a load of graft and have just Glyn and myself playing each other for the title on the day!
Here’s a link to this year’s ruleset.

Hope you’re all safe and well. Drop me a message if you have any thoughts or concerns that you don’t want to make public.
Note: still waiting for an update on the situation with the Turkish barbers across the road I’m afraid, which I know may impact Hobnail’s participation.
