Anyone got a space in a room for the Fri and/or Sat night?
Happy to pay my share, else it's a drive home for me (which isn't a problem, as it's only about 45mins, but does put a little dampner on the amount of drinkknig I can do!).

Is a room in Winchester helpful?

It would mean having to walk/bus/taxi/cycle from Olivers Battery to the city centre (and vice versa) before getting the train to St Denys. I think of that as conveniant but I guess its not alot better than travelling from Andover, the only advantage is the drinking bit.

On second thoughts... if you are driving from Andover would I be able to get free lifts? :D

I love the way you guys that have yet to pay are actually discussing this :P

I'm not living at home right now, otherwise I'd have a spare room, but I'll ask around and see what I can find.

Can't see why not.

VB - I'm trying to work out a way to pay now, but my credit cards are out of use (seems I'm meant to pay them back), and I don't process a cheque book. I can stick a postal order in the post tomorrow, but is that easier for you than paying on the day?

Just pay on the day, it's really not a problem...

...but don't blame me if I spend it on beer!

I'll try and send a cheque addressed to Martin.

What teams are other people bringing? I might be bringing vampires although I have a hankering for lizzies. If anyone has a spare lizzie team going that they dont mind me breaking then let me know :)

BTW Gaz, how is loverboy Geoffwhile and his new t-shirt? :D

Silly - what are you looking for in the lizzie team?

No idea on what team to take. In theory, I should take a "good" team to try to prove my 2006 victory wasn't a fluke, but I'm still trying to play through all 24 rosters...

Probably decide on the day (again!).

Noted, I'll probably hand you a cheque on the day just to see what happens :)

I'm looking at:
1 Krox (block)
6 Saurus (block, block, block, block)
5-6 Skinks named Martin
Some re-rolls

I have an oddly/poorly/not-quite painted kroxigor but lack both the skinks and saurus.

I've never really tried lizzies and this looks like a good excuse to use them. The ruleset looks relatively well suited and they're supposed to be a competitive team - I've never had the chance to defend a title before so I might as well give it a good shot :)
