Thanks buddy, not sure if you'll see before you leave so if you bring them and there's still another Stunt coach I can use them, will write a list in the car just incase. If not I got my Chaos team packed and ready to go.

Great tourney once again, many thanks to all my opponents 4 excellent games including the nail biter of a last game, will definitely be back next year but learning from Dan's example not going to be taking elves, if I've completed the 24 I might even bring the Tff legacy team back for a run out.
Last but not least many thanks to Jim for a really well run tournament, next year you do have to play though

What a blisteringly good event - loved it.
4 brilliant games including 2 draws that had everything! It totally deserves a much bigger turn out next year.
Best part was Plum almost winning the whole thing in her very first tournament. Disappointed in Maverick in un-sportingly sneaking a draw to steal first place!

Great event Jim! Fun day as always and a premium date on the BB Tour.
Plum - huge congrats - excellent performance. The only team to beat the STAR Stunty Kings. I'm very pleased with my respectable 5th. And we'll done Mav for taking your first NAF Shield.
Thanks to my opponents for allowing me the results - not least Lemf at the end for forcing me to successfully dodge with Deeproot, allowing him a T16 TTM to win 3-2! Did you have to kill him on your T16 though!?

Jim can you post the final standings?
The game against Hobnail was awesome! It was a real thinker throughout the entire thing and either of us could have taken it. We both played Amazons and both have Roxana Darknail. We also both KO'd her in the first half and she failed to return for either of us in the 2nd.
In T16 I needed a remarkable string of dice to win it . . . .
3+ pick up - done
2+ GFI - done
2+ GFI - done
5+ Pass - done
4+ Catch - done
4+ Dodge -done
3+ Dodge - done
2+ GFI - done
Then I just had one GFI left to win the game and a reroll in hand. You can all guess what then happened on the slippery white line! A draw was a fair result so no moans and groans, I should never gotten as far as I did in the above sequence!

Congrats to Maverick for the win and to Plum on second place. Could have gone either way in a very close final.
Thank you Jim for yet another great little tourney. The rule set makes every team different.
Sorry about the hound wandering around the hall, she seem to be recovering nicely though.
See you all at next year's STAR!

More hounds I say. She was a lucky charm for me; nudging the table just at the right moment to turn a skull into a pow.

Re: S.T.A.R. Championship II - 01 October 2016 - Shropshire
Thanks guys, I had a blast! I really shouldn't have done as well as I did though, as my first round draw against the Amazons was definitely more luck than judgement. Having ground my way slowly up the pitch, I found myself facing a solid line of defence on the last turn and had no choice but to run in a straight line right past all of the defenders - 5+, 5+, 4+, 3+ and two GFIs... I think Wobert crunched the numbers at around a 4% chance of success
I also feel like I learned more about play and tactics during this one day than an entire season of fortnightly games. Being able to see a trick or formation or play used against me and then immediately try it out for myself in the next game was great. I'm definitely looking forward to another masterclass next year!
