Bilbali Teams Cup V - Bilbao, Spain. Cancelled

Hello all,

we are so pleased to announce that our XVI Bilbali Cup (5th Teams Cup) will be held the 4 and 5 of July , 2020, in the same venue as last year's (in a Jai Alai in Getxo, really near Bilbao). As always we will do some pintxo-dinner friday afternoon as "fiesta de compadres" and cider house dinning on saturday evening to sink all the frustration from saturday games.

Also as in previous years we will offer saturday lunch for all coaches at the venue, ba with economic prices for artisan-beer, sodas and maybe coffee this year, wonderful gifts for all coaches and the most beutiful prizes for the winners. We expect to have 60, or so, 4-coach-squads that will battle against each other to find which is the best (or the less worse).

We are glad to say to all of you that the ruleset for the tournament is fixed at the very Bilbali Cup Style.

Registration opens the 1st of February. At the webpage you have all the needed information but do not hesitate to ask us anything at bilbaliteamscup@gmail.com

This year we have a limit of 60 squads (4 or 5 coaches each) so please, do not leave it to the final week. Registration closes the 26th of june.

We have slightly changed the dates for closing registration and sending rosters:

June 12 is final day for Squads Registration (sending the form and making the payment).

June 26 is final day for sending us the rosters.

Hello Blood Bowl mates,

Sadly, and with deep sorrow, we are here to announce that because of the pandemic that COVID-19 has brought us this year the Bilbali Teams Cup is cancelled. We are deeply sorry but due to all the uncertainty that surrounds our society right now we are not able to know even if we will be permitted to host the tournament. Also, because of the quarantine, we are not able to prepare the tournament with all the goodies, services and level of quality that we would like to. We hope that you will be able to understand our situation and the decision taken.

To all the teams that had already signed in; first of all, thanks for your support and trust. Second, we will immediately refund the money and we will get in touch with the captains to do it asap.

In these harsh times we are living we can see people around us working hard to keep us safe, this is the moment to give something back. We will keep up the Charity Raffle and we will give all the money to the Red Cross, an organization that is working very hard in these weeks.

The Raffle will take place the 5th of July, and we will stream it via Youtube, Twitch or by any means we are capable.
