I'm not involved in this event, but thought it may interest people who perhaps will not have seen the post on facebook.

GW have added a Saturday one day tournament for 21st March.

Calendar says "maybe NAF ranked". Is that a realistic option?!

That's me not knowing. There's a pending event on NAF list, which might be this. It's noted as Purplegoo looking into.

I'm not sure you're supposed to be able to see that, Al. Interesting! I actually think it would be helpful if all pending tournaments were visible to everyone, and that is on the 'to do at some stage' list. Which isn't short.

Anyway. This is now a NAF sanctioned event. Please see the following hastily copy, pasted and updated notes from last time:

- This event is at Warhammer World. Use GW minis, do not use Slann, Daemons of Khorne or Brettonians. These are non negotiable items.

- GW Legal have asked we don't conduct face to face signups on-site. If you would like to join or renew at this event, please be advised you'll have to use the website for now. We're looking into what may be possible, so keep your eyes peeled on that.

- Only member v member games will be recorded in the NAF database.

I / we have nothing to do with the running of the tournament, so if you have questions, please contact GW via the email / links in the submission on the NAF database.

And GW settle the debate about the Ogre Disposable thing with this simple paragraph:

Any gold not spent is wasted. You will not be able to choose additional Inducements to make up any difference between your Team Value and your opponents. We strongly advise that small sums leftover be spent on Fan Factor, Assistant Coaches, or Cheerleaders to make your roster a round 1,250,000 value.

Confirmed as cancelled. Also got an email from Warhammer World saying I'd get a refund.
