Hi buddy, my apologies. It seems Loynster mis-spelt your name in the Superbowl results so it went missing. Results above updated pushing you to a solid 125 points and the DBL a little closer to the ECBBL in the team scores.

I also got informed that VonLeppard is in fact the artist formerly known as Deff. Merging his results together launches him to the top of the stunty charts and the top dozen scores overall. Very impressive.

Lots of drama last week from Pearlies, and then we had a tournament!

Six more coaches now officially qualify for the BBALLs Shield; Gritter, King_Ghidra, BartK, LewishM, SteAirey and DrMoustachio. None however were able to rack up enough points to overtake scs.sam who continues to head the table. The winner from the weekend, GColeman76, moves up to a provisional 4th and with one further result surely will fancy a shot at the podium.

In the stunty SteAirey's decent performance with Ogres once again has made him the first qualifier and set a target of 120.8. VonLeppard and whitehot will both probably fancy taking a shot at that total soon with another Stunty attendance.

The ECBBL continue to lead the team standings, mainly due to having 3 qualified coaches. The DBL will fancy catching up if GColeman and Jackal can pick up decent results in the next events.

Speaking of the next events, the talkNuffle Borak Bowl is on 20th July at the Magic Madhouse. Everyone with access to mutations? Whats not to like? Sign up now!

After a little delay awaiting results and holidays I'm glad to announce that the BBALLs Shield standing have been updated again. Due to the wait its a double update with both the Borakbowl and Warboar Summer Plate results coming in...

In the individual Whitehot has leapt to the top thanks to two fantastic results in the last two tournaments of 87.5 and 83.3 points. All of his results so far being Ogres or Underworld make it all the more impressive! Scs.sam drops into second and Wagz rounds out the top 3 with a hattrick of great results over a busy summer. There are a swathe of excellent scores below this trio with 11 coaches on 200 points or more. All will fancy a shot at the podium with another good result or two although some will have a tough time improving their lowest score. Also although not yet qualified GColeman76 and VultureSquadron will fancy their chances with a good result in their 3rd tournament.
Speaking of 3rd tournaments we're delighted that 24 coaches have now qualified and another 21 are on the cusp with 2 results. The total of 101 coaches attending London tournaments so far is also fantastic, long live Bloodbowl in the capital.

In the Stunty table that man Whitehot continues to lead the way thanks to his Ogre rampage. Did we mention he came second at Borakbowl with them, only missing out on tiebreakers for the win? Well done that man. A couple more coaches picked up results in the last 2 fixtures, maybe they can wrestle away the lead with another stunty upset?

In the team table there have been major changes thanks to more coaches qualifying and a couple of representation clarifications. The DBL now lead the way with Jackal, ChugManmilk and Matt75 all setting qualifying scores. The BBBL, long time leaders ECBBL and even the unaffiliated pirates are all within a result or two of the top though so there is still lots of change possible.

Our next tournament is the London GT, the second 6 game event, on the 14th and 15th of September.

Woo hoo, 3rd! Can I put a vote for the January event to be the 4th or the 25th else I can't play on the Saturday mornings? I realise it's much more complicated than arranging things around one person's requests, of course. Hoping to get to one or two of the currently-TBA events in the coming months.

Surely 4th would be more fitting?

The London GT is done, dusted and written into the record books. Congratulations to PurpleChest for his first NAF tournament victory. I am sure we will hear all about it on the Fumbbl podcast soon.

With this victory his score qualifies for the BBALLs Shield and jumps himself into a solid 7th place. Gritter's close but no cigar second place boosts his score and he now pips scs.sam into second on the 3rd tiebreaker, tournaments attended. Wagz drops out the top 3 into his coveted 4th place.
With PC and VoldermortsCleaner racking up their third tournament we now have 26 coaches with qualifying scores. With 2 more events to go if you're one of the 57 coaches on a single tournament you'll need to signup to both to ensure you make it.

In the Stunty there is little change with only 2 attendees rocking the little folk. SteAirey scoops his second Cup and moves closer to whitehot's mighty score. Can he possibly catch up in the next events?

The team table once again changes wildly with a couple of extra qualifying coaches. PurpleChest joining the 200 point club launches the pirates to the top of the table by 4.1 points. The ECBBL also improve markedly with VoldermortsCleaner as the 3rd coach, moving into 2nd place. Everyone else remains stationary.

Due to circumstances outside our control the Warboar Autumn event has had to be moved into December. Therefore our next event is the BBALLs Cup on 16th November. This only means that the prize giving for the series will be delayed to either the Warboar event, or the BBALLs Masters next year. Scoring will not be affected. The scores as they stand now will be used for any seedings at the team tournament so you can begin organising yourselves in earnest now!

The BBALLs Cup was a raging success this weekend with 14 teams of 3 competing for the title. In the end Team Tacklezone came to town and took home the glory. Congratulations to Wulfyn, Joemanji and NippyLongskar!

Individual records were however very much still on the line, and this made some big differences to the overall standings...

With a fantastic 3/1/0 record Wagz launched himself into a tie for 1st place in the standings. The fact this was at the BBALLs Cup, and individual winner, also gives him the first & second tiebreakers over Whitehot (BBALLs Cup performance & events won). Will Whitehot do the unthinkable and try to win his own tournament for overall glory?
Gritter and scs.sam continue to be tied, now for 3rd as the former couldn't improve his score & the latter was not in attendance.
Good results for ChugManmilk, VoldermortsCleaner, BartK, EyeballPaul & dragonloup all boost their positions and leave them within striking range of the podium with 1 event to go.
Overall 30 coaches now have qualifying scores from the 116 who have attended London events this year. Well done to you all.

In the stunty standings Whitehot again turns out a quality Ogre performance to hold his lead further over SteAirey. Can Ste pull out a shock result to take the title or is this race done and dusted?

Finally in the Team standings the excellent results from VoldermortsCleaner and BartK have pushed the ECBBL back to the top of the standings. The Pirates are still not far behind, especially with the short format event to come, and both they and the DBL could still taste victory.

Just the BBBL Winter Classic to come to round out the year, don't miss your chance for last minute points on the 7th December. As a reminder also the top 16 will be invited to the BBALLs Masters next January (plus extras if invitees are unavailable) so there is still lots to play for!

With 1 game to go at the BBBL Winter Classic 3 coaches stood with a chance to pip Wagz to win the inaugural BBALLs Shield... and with his 3rd victory of the day Gritter scored a perfect 100 to vault himself to the top of the standings! Congratulations that man. Book ending the season with wins he scored a fantastic 262.5 out of the maximum 300 to take the prize. Of course attending 8 of the 9 events, playing 34 games, may have helped (on top of being an adequate coach).

Coming in second, also scoring a perfect 100 at the final event, is PurpleChest. He would have won it all had Gritter not won his last game but will have to satisfy himself with silver. Pipped both on the day and over the year, heartbreaking.

For the bronze two coaches who were inactive for the final event were tied and Wagz took the position on tiebreakers (+10% to BBALLs Cup score). A remarkably consistent high scores at limited events show there was more than one way to skin the cat. Hopefully we can get you to more events next year.

Congratulations to all of our winners. There will be NAF pins and some kind of award for all of you when I see you next.

Commendations for Persistency are also due for the 18 coaches who managed 5 or more London events this year. Thanks for being the backbone of the tournament scene.

For the Stunty Shield we all knew pretty much going into the final event the award was Whitehot's and it turned out to be the case. 200 points with Ogres is frankly a ridiculous return. Well done, a Pin & award also have your name on it.

Finally the team score could not have been closer. Tied on 700 points are both the ECBBL & Pirates so we come down to the first tie breaker. Adding an additional 10% to BBALLs Cup scores gives the ECBBL an additional 15 points to the Pirate's 8.7. Congratulations to Gritter, VoldemortsCleaner & BartK who were the 3 scoring coaches for the league.

Thanks to all 122 coaches who attended London tournaments. Thanks to you this series has been a success and we've really enjoyed being able to bring it to you. It's gone so well we'll be doing it all over again next year. Keep your eyes peeled.

This season is not totally complete yet though. The top 16 will be invited to the BBALLs Masters early next year. Loynster is still finalising the date & venue but should be in a position to invite you all very soon.

Thank you so much for organising this, and i hope it is the first of many years of such depth and breadth of tournaments in London. It has truly been a fantastic year of Blood Bowl for all, with a range or Tournaments, all excellently run (even the London GT) and really well communicated. My huge thanks to all involved.

Gritter is a fine and deserving champion, an excellent BB coach and lovely chap in general.
