Well, the crapiest thing just happened. Just spoke to the hall to confirm everything is good for the weekend, and what time we can get the keys, etc.

The guy I booked the hall with 12 months ago has passed away, and our booking apparantley isnt in the new system,

So we have two options:

Try and find somewhere new,

Cut short day 2 and only have two rounds without lunch (and a fiver refund for everybody)

I think cutting a game short is better only because some people would have booked hotels

So, after a frenzied debate on FB and Whatsapp with the majority of players, we are going to go with 4 games on the Saturday, 2 games on the Sunday.

We are in a different hall now, only two miles from the original - Southbrook Rd, West Ashling, PO18 8DR. We have access from 5pm on the Friday if anyone wants to come down early to help set up, play games, etc.

I will pump the food money from Sunday into the food and drink on Saturday night.
