New danish bloodbowl Tournament the Ghost Bowl which is part of the TRC Convention where there also will be Warhammer Fantasy and X-Wing tournaments.

Sign up:
Price: 150 dkr. (215 dkr. for non NAF members, the 65 dkr. Will go to the NAF membership)
Included is the 3 day TRC Con 2014, 3 meals Saturday and breakfast Sunday, Free sleeping arrangements at the Venue (For the first 60 who needs it.).

Rulepack: LRB 6 + the 3 experimental teams (Chaos Pact, Slann & Underworld)
Roster must be sent to lasse@trc.dk before August 29th at 12:00.

Skills: All teams gets a minimum of 6 Skill Points points to distribute to the team (Higher tiers will get additional Skill Points as follows)
Tier 1: 6 x Skill Points
Tier 2: 7 x Skill Points
Tier 3: 8 x Skill Points
Tier 4: 9 x Skill Points
Price for skills: 1 Skill Point x Standard Skill & 2 Skill Points x Double Skill.
Each player may only receive up to two extra skills and star players may not benefit from these skills.

Results:
Victory 50 Points
Draw 20 Points
Loss 5 Points
Round 1 & Round 4 Bonus: Scoring 3 Touch Downs 5 Points
Round 2 & Round 5 Bonus: Scoring 3 CAS 5 Points
Round 3 & Round 6 Bonus: Scoring 2 Long Bomb TD’s / Making 2 Crowd Surf CAS 5 Points (Both bonuses can be achieved)

Tie Breakers:
Total Score > Net Touchdowns > Net Casualties
*Only casualties that would normally give SPP would count as a Casualty

Inducements:
All inducements are bought for your roster, so you can’t change them during the tournament. So you can’t speculate in making a 1.090.000 Value team so your opponent can’t use what he has bought.
Bloodweiser Babes: Not allowed
Bribes: May be bought for the Goblin team.
Halfling Master Chef: May only be bought for the Halfling team.
Star players: Are allowed to be bought for your team Cockerel. After you have made a valid Cockerel with a minimum of 11 players.
If two teams with the same Star player meets no one has the player, the player will sit that game out. No replacements may be bought.
Wandering Apothecaries & Igor: Not allowed
Wizard: Not Allowed

Good luck with the tournament!
As it is the first tournament, I thought I just make you aware that there is in Germany a ghostbowl (sometimes written ghost bowl ) since 2004.
Not saying you have to change your name, as I think there are probably already some tournaments in the world having the same name. Just making you aware.
Cause indeed I would find it nice if each tourney would have a unique name.

Like the one time we did a tourney in Munich, the place of THE octoberfest.
So obviously we thought blocktoberfest would be a cool name.
But then realized the Australian guys already had such a tournament.
So still thinking the name is suited to Munich, we called it at least "Bavarian blocktoberfest"

Thanks for the Info Oventa.

The Reason for the name is actually that our Club logo (Taastrup Roleplaying Club) is called The Ghost so seemed like the obvious choice.

Det er med stor beklagelse at måtte meddele at Ghost Bowl 2014 er aflyst grundet for få tilmeldte til at turneringen kunne være NAF saktioneret, alle der måtte have indbetalt vil få denne tilbage indenfor de næste par dage. Vi beklager hvilken ulejlighed denne aflysning har medført.

It is with big regrets we have to inform that the Ghost Bowl 2014 have been cancelled due to not enough participants for the tournament to be NAF sanctioned. Those who have already paid for the tournament will get their money return within a few days. We are sorry about the inconvenient this cancelation have brought upon those who was participating.
