Fouling, die rolls

Hi there, just a quick (probably stupid) question.
When you make a foul on an opposing player how many die do you use to get through the opposing players armour?
I've read the LRB2 section a few times but it only says to roll a D6 to see if the Ref catches you.
Thanks in advance.

Just make a normal AV-roll (=2D6)

Fouling is making a normal armour Roll.
You do that with 2 dice. Add them, add +1 for making the foul. add +1 for every assist you've got, and deduct -1 for every assist he's got.
If you beat his armour make the injury roll.
After the foul roll 1 D6 to see if you will be sent off. The first foul you make youre safe at 2+. Add one for every next foul you make during the game.
OK?
BTW, there is no such thing as a stupid question. You might get remarks like, do a search, like I'm doing now. But if you couldn't find it, make a post. And if somebody says something wrong he will eventually be corrected. Just wait a few hours and you'll see.

Narkotic beat me to it, but I still have to add on the remark you said you couldn't find it in the LRB.
Page 24: The coach nominates the victim, and then makes an Armour Roll for him, ....
Armour Roll says it all P 12 Knock Down and Injuries. Read the injuries section.

Actually its like this:
After the foul you roll a d6. On a 6 you're sent of.
If you foul again before your opponent has fould or before the end of a half or of overtime add +2 to the dice roll. Iew a 4+ sends you of.
With IGMEOY I think you mean the handicap table Biased Referee.
All fouls will then be spotted on 4+. Could't find any IGMEOY so far somewhere else in the rulebook.

We play that the opposing coach rolls to see if your player is sent off,
for the simple reason that rolling a 6 should never be a bad thing.
So if he gets the six, your player is sent off.

You are spot on! The opposing coach gets to do the Roll.

opposing coach rolls the see if ref spots foul, because then the fouling team can't re roll the result, because the roll wasn't made by them.

Yes, the roll is made by the opposing coach.
But you should also remember that only rolls made by a player on the field can be rerolled in any case. That means that the Ref couldn't be rerolled any more than a wizard could reroll their lightning bolt, or an apothecary fix his mistake.

yeah good point.
I just noticed that they changed TRR's to not be allowed for armour or injury rolls anyway! How rude! I should modify my suggested changes post to include TRR use for armour and injury rolls.

It changed? I thought it had always been like that.
ASnd i surely dont want anyone to be able to reroll AV rolls, i would like to get my team to more than 11 players.

It wouldn't matter as you can only reroll "player" rolls. So you can't reroll as wizard or apoth either.

Forget about AV rolls, rerolling injury rolls.. now THAT is evil!! (and you used to be able to back in 3rd ed, maybe earlier too but I didn't play back then). And when the extra injury dice came out (the "Sigurd" rule) we could re-roll that too, if we wanted.. only VERY evil players did that though... or the really nice ones, I remember a friend of mine re-rolling a "Dead" result since he didn't want to kill my player he just wanted the CAS
