Only 4 rolls on the kick-off table use FF, 3 of them use 2 dice, and only rocks and PI's are 'disasterous'. I'd rather go with a low ff and a skilled player, the player will be part of the game more than the FF. Similar team line up to one I was considering for Britcon... on that basis ditch it and take something else, there must be something wrong with it

Losing Get the Ref can be very bad too.Slinky78 wrote:only rocks and PI's are 'disasterous'.
Any of those 3 can win the game for you outright, or at least tip the odds in your favour.
Look at it this way GtR, PI & TaR happen 5/36. If you have 4 kick offs in a game thats a 45% of at least one of them happening.
Look at is over 10 kickoffs that's a 78% chance of at least one of them happening.
The more games you play the more important high FF is to winning.
On top of which high FF means more money in the long run - vital of the continued success of any team, but particularly one as fragile as rats.

Hi, I'm new to this forum. I just played Blood Bowl yesterday w/a friend using the teams that come in the box. We really like it and now I'm going to do up a Skaven team. So I've been checking out some stuff like the Boxed Team set, etc. I figured the Mutants blister and a couple extra Stormvermin would be a good way to start augmenting it. Has anyone used any of the Mutants? Are four Stormvermin viable on a team?

Definitely... the team box comes w/three IIRC, do you think I should pick up a fourth? I played the human team that comes in the box yesterday, and their Catchers move pretty fast... when I checked out the GR's I was sold on Skaven! The Mutants look pretty cool though, although I'm not even sure what abilities they have or how much they cost. I could see how a good chunk of GR's could make for a great team.

You can't buy mutants initially but with a bit of luck you can develop them from your other players (by rolling doubles on a skill roll).Slim Shady wrote:The Mutants look pretty cool though, although I'm not even sure what abilities they have or how much they cost.
