What does it all mean?

I'm porbably being a bit dim here, but I'm fresh to the world of chat forums, and I'm a bit lost as to what some of the abbreviations mean. LOL, IMO, etc....
Any clues?

ROFL - Rolling on the floor laughing...something was friggin hilarious

heh i just searched on google for sites with this info, but there are some stupidly long lists, most of which would only been seen on aol or yahoo chat etc.
so instead most comman ones on here are
lol = laugh out loud
imo = im my opinion
tbh = to be honest
iirc = if i remember correctly
afaik = as far as i know
rofl = rolling on floor laughin
lmao = laughing my ass off
those should sort you for most things, the rest are usually just blood bowl ones like
po = piling on
dp = dirty player
etc....

Most confusing Blood Bowl related abbreviation is probably:
IGMEOY = I've Got My Eye On You
Got me when I first joined.
