Need some help about fantasy football draft strategy

I'm looking forward to my first fantasy football league this year.
I've viewed other sites and they all seem to recommend NOT drafting QBs in the early rounds. As i am newbie to FF I got little confuse.
Can someone help me better understand the subtleties of fantasy football draft philosophies?

We can show you how to get started playing. Our fantasy football is better anyway. It's way more infuriating.

Emm, I've never understood that warning anyway; what is Blood Bowl if not 'Fantasy Football'?

I think it's the 'NFL' designation that sets it appart. But people don't read that stuff anyway.

Although I think it should read "THIS IS NOT A NFL FANTASY FOOTBALL SITE!" as I believe 'an' is not appropriate.

I disagree, I believe "an" is the appropriate adjective when referring to an Acronym.

"an" is correct.

But it would not be correct if you said, "THIS IS NOT AN NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE FANTASY FOOTBALL SITE!"

So what's the deal there english majors?

"National" starts with a consonant sound. "NFL" starts with a vowel sound ("en").

I understand the concept, but is that the actual rule. (I'm honestly asking because I don't remember)

I always assumed that it didn't matter what the sound was but that the appropriate way to write it would be as if you were spelling out the acronym in full. Or is it a situation where it's fully acceptable to use either?

It's kind of like (but admittedly not the same) as people that call it an ATM machine. That's wrong because it's just an ATM. Machine is redundant. Basically, lots of folks say that and its accepted but its not correct.

You guys are amazing.

How to hijack a useless off topic thread into a grammar thread

OT, it is useless to draft throwers, the first player to draft is a wardancer/gutter runner/mummy anyway :orc:

I am concerned on the impact on human catcher debate.

Surely the humble werewolf deserves some consideration as an early draft if you're thinking long term :)
