Hi from.. Germany :)
I registered here a while ago, and I think I made a post here, but since life got the better of me I wish to start over.
I currently live in Germany, but lived in the Netherlands, UK, Ireland and Belgium before, and played Bloodbowl in each of those countries.
With starting a new job in a new country and all that I had to miss out on playing Bloodbowl for quite a while, but with many new miniatures available (Neomics, Mano di Porco etc) and after having bought the Bloodbowl computergame, compulsive behaviour like back in the day came back to me, and I´m glad it did!
I recently ordered most of a Sarcos team (8 small gators and 4 glavials, and I´m nervous like hell cause I did not yet get a shipping notification from Impact miniatures) and the beginnings of a Dark Elf bloodbowl team (some Helldorado minis which need little work to make them work as Blitzers)
Then the bug really got me and I scored this on Ebay:
I also own a 3rd edition set and the following teams:
Dwarves (3rd edition metal)
Dwarves (2nd edition plastic)
Chaos (Horrors of Tzeentsch themed and WIP, but I intend to use regular Chaos All Stars rule. Helldorado Corvus will double as chaos warriors and dark elf blitzers)
Humans (box set which will serve as the beginnings of a Bretonnian team)
Humans (2nd edition plastic)
Humans (2nd edition metal)
High Elves (3rd edition metal)
Elves (4th edition metal, specialized games)
Elves (2nd edition plastic)
Halflings (3rd edition metal)
Orcs (converted Space Orks)
Orcs (3rd edition plastic)
Orcs (2nd edition plastic)
Goblins (GW 3rd edition and Uscarl)
Ogres (GW 2nd edition x3, 3rd edition x1 and 5th edition x2)
Skaven (the 3rd edition metal ones)
Lizardmen (ordered the Sarcos, and as Kroxigor I´ll use a Helldorado mini again)
Necromantic (metal)
Forest Folk (converted Norse, rules were published in Citadel Journal)
Teams I intend to add in the near future, or which I´m working on:
Dark Elves (converted out of fantasy witch elves, Helldorado Corvus and Dark Eldar Hagashin)
Bretonnian (I will most likely end up using the 3rd edition plastic humans as linemen, Warmachine Precursor knights as ... well, knights and I need to find something I can use as squires)
Norse (Uscarls Scots look really nice at the moment. I can´t decide on these yet)

Hi Solitaire
Cant beat the artwork and feel to the second edition rulebooks and the quality pitch.
Are you doing any teams at the moment? Get some pictures posted if you do!!

@Leipziger, I´m in Krefeld NRW
Düsseldorf is only 20 miles (30 km) from here, and I know there are lots of players there.
I really only want to play friendly games though. Not so interested in competitive tournament play myself.
@Velvet Mark,
I´m waiting for a team of Sarcos to arrive. They are in Chicago at the moment, waiting for the next flight to Germany.
I also have a few Helldorado Corvus on the way to complete my Chaos team. I will use the rules for Chaos allstars but will use horrors of Tzeentsch for beastmen, the Helldorado Corvus for Warriors and I bought a minotaur which will be converted into the great Cthulhoid minotaur of Change.
The best part about that 2nd edition set is that it only cost me $15 shipped
I´ll see to it that I make some pictures of teams I own and that I´m working on soon
