Im running a new league to conicide with the opening of a new hobby shop in my area. Is there somewhere on this forum I can advertise this? I've looked in the tournaments sections, but this isnt a tournament. Should I just stick it in there anyway?

Probably General Chat is best, seen a few similar posts in there.

Is the league in the Brighton area? I might well be interested as I'm probably having to pull out my London league due to change in work locations.

Edit: Also, add it to the World Wide league locator post which is in the general chat section

Yes, it will be run at Wargames Heaven, the new gaming shop that is opening up this weekend (29th). Its in imperial arcade, where the blacks outdoor shop used to be.

Send me a PM if you are interested. We should be kicking off the league around the 15th of Sept :D. The shop has 16 6x4 gaming tables setup at all times, and is open late most nights, so it should be easy enough to get some games at times that are suitable for you.

Cheers
Stu

Ratchet -

Please PM me urgently.

My friends and I are MOST excited about your shop opening in Brighton. We have a pretty active BB league already going. Well into its forth maybe fifth year!

I'm sure I'll be able to get some guys together to run a day or so. But a full blown league has proven hard to expand.

you might want to sign up to BrightonBowl@yahoogroups.com

Welcome to Brighton and good luck with the store - I'm sure you'll be seeing me soon!

Hey.

Just a quick note to say "Hi", and that it's good to know more BBers in the area. I'm the current league commissioner for the Brighton Bowl tourney based on Yahoo. I intend to pop along to the opening on Saturday, and we could discuss leagues then...

:D

Hi,

I'm not actually going to be there Saturday, nor do I own the shop. I'm just good friends with the guys that do, and they have OK'ed running a league out of it (they are both going to participate in it as well). I could meet you sometime next week to discuss the league's however.

Cheers
