fouling clarification

One of my opponents players fouls one of my guys. the ref roll is a 1-5, so the foul isn't spotted. Does the ref keep his 'close eye' on my opponent after this unspotted foul anyway? Or does the +2 modifier come into effect after spotted or unspotted fouls?

The way the rulebook reads, it would appear that it is applied after either, but it doesnt make a lot of sense that the ref would have is eye on the offending team if he didnt see anything in the first place??? not that 'sense' matters an awful lot in Bloodbowl anyway :)

Maybe the ref spotted something dodgy going on, but just couldnt identify the guilty culprit...

the IGMEOY rules apply

(ive got my eye on you)

after the first foul the fouling coach has the ref watching him, (following fouls will be spotted on a 4,5,or6)

you are unaffected at this point so your fouls will be only spotted on a 6

if you foul then the ref will watch you. at half time or after a TD the ref will go back to normal

check out the IGMEOY rules for a better explanation

It should be after any foul attempt, whether spotted or not.

The ref starts to turn his head in time to see someone lying on the ground holding his crotch, but didn't catch anyone doing anything so he can't make a call, but from that point forward, he is watching.
