What kind of glue do you use on your minis?
I usually use an epoxy glue, but it takes about 12 hours to harden and sometimes there's no way to hold the glued parts in place for that long.
In other words: The arm of one of my treemen keeps falling off. What to do?

On another issue: What do you use to carry your minis in? I know there are special carrying cases or bags, but these are too expensive in my opinion.

Sometimes glue isnt really great at holding large pieces together, you need to use a technique called "pinning".

Pinning involves drilling a small hole in the parts you wish to stick together and inserting a piece of wire (ie. paper clip or brass rod) into the hole before glueing. It'll give added strength to the joint. Check out this page, it has a desctiption of how to do it and some pictures:

As far as transportation, I just bought a case meant for HeroClix miniatures that is perfect for BB. The top layer has sectioned off foam areas with 16 spaces, the bottom layers has the same but has 8 bigger slots large enough for Ogres and other Big Guys. Cost me about $30.

It had a logo for Mechwarrior and MageKnight on it I think (I took it off ) but the case is made by Ultra Pro. It's the one at the bottom of the page here:

For glueing i use GW superglue, for heavier parts the sandwich method: put layer of greenstuff between both metal parts, remove access, let it cure, then snap (brute force) and glue back once. snap again, glue back twice.

Pinning is sometimes needed if the parts are really heavy.

Last alternative if everything fails it Pattex Stabilit Express. It's a 2-compontent glue, but it takes quite some time to harden.

For transport i use a cheap 10 Euro Tool/CD-Case from Bauhaus with foam inlays from Gwindi.

Epoxy glues come with different hardening times, a couple of years back I worked in a shop for radio controlled airplanes. We carried different stuff ranging from 5 minutes to 12 hours. The company was R&G, sometimes hobby stores carry their product range as well. Just take a look in their shop (click on order) in the section glues / ep glues and you will find what I mean.
But for larger parts, like branches of a treeman, I would always recommend pinning. Additionally when using epoxy glues, clean the surface thoroughly with turpentines to remove any fat.

For transportation I went to next DIY store searched for nice transportation box and build an "tablet" for the minis out of cardboard, laminated that with papertowels drenched in white glue (add 50 % water). Then I went to shop that makes custom pillows and blankets where I bought some rubber foam (?).

thats a cool case but they only deleiver to the US and Canada, anyone know if there is one in the UK or Europe?

UltraPro articles are carried by most comic / trading card shops. At least I see their card sleeves and folders everywhere. Maybe one of those could order you one.

My case is a converted tackle box.

Purchased for $9 US at a sporting goods store, it has a door that opens in the front to access 3 large tackle trays and a top that opens up to store... whatever.

The trays are about 1.5 inches deep and sectioned into 24 compartments. To modify the trays to protect my hard painted teams (see avatar), I got a yard of green felt ($3 US) and cut it into strips. I then sprayed 3M Spray Adhesive (strong stuff) on one side of the strips and placed them in the sections in sort of a lattice pattern. Glued one large piece inside the lid and 'TAA DAA!!!', a durable carrier for 6-10 BB teams plus tons of extras.

I do like that case pictured above as it holds the game box as well.
