Talk Fantasy Football

Well, I'm new to the group..so..I think it's right to start with a small post in the newbie area!

I play Blood Bowl since..uhm..'96 or '97 I think. Started with Wood Elves+Deeproot, then after buying CJ #10 I moved to Norse and did well in many tournaments with my dozen or so friends. Never been the winner, but always in the first places!

After a long stop, more than a year I think, we are going to play a new tournament, and I'm toying with the idea of playing Amazons... but I have a little doubt.

Altough we'll play without Star Players...will these gals be able to withstand a tournament with so many big-guy powered teams?!?

Anyway..I hope I'll positively contribute to the group!

amazons do well even against big guys

remember most big guys don't have block in tournaments and with dodge on the amazons big guys need to get a POW to get them down

its bad odds, be more afraid of blitzers and anyone with tackle tbh

Erm..yes, I think.. you're right. I mean, with experience and so on!

So, the problem I think is.. a Minotaur after 6 SPPs gets Block..and my gal still has S3!

Oh well, I think I'm going to play them anyway!
