Hy!
I´m new at this game but have already played some games jet. Well I have played against all possible Teams at the moment but have a real Problem about the Necro-Team and the Orc-Team.
The Orcteams most of the time are able to smash me in the first 4-5 rounds so my Team has to take the game with 8-9 Players and the number is going down the wohle game. How can I help my Players staying alive and win the game against them easier and without 2 many wounded Players?
Necros are my Horror-enemies, and I have found no way of handling them in 4 games jet, but for the upcoming Leage I have to do something when playing against them.
My problem is: They have something Strong with flashgolem, I have the same armor or less and I can´t overrun them because of Wolves, Wrights and Goules, ok my Agility is much higher but that doesnt help me. The most brutal things are 1 or 2 Wolve with thair Claws who are hurting to many Players or are 2 quick for my Darkelves with MA 6/7.

Maybe I should also post my Team:
1 Blitzer
1 Witch
9 Lineman
2 Rerolls
FF 6

Maybe a skilled Player can help me out of my problems against this 2 Teams

when i started i also had a DE team and found them frustrating for the same reasons. but you have to play to your strengths witch is your agility. dont try to match teams for strength because you will loose (very badly). try not to leave any players in base contact so there are no blocks available to your opponent, dodge away then they can only blitz you once, this will limit you casualty rate by alot. as for your team selection get as many blitzers in your starting team as possible if need be sacrifice a witch elve for them they will soon become your most effective players. and on defence you will just have to slow you opponents down by always staying one square away from their cage limiting their movement to one square per turn, and be wise, pick off their weakest players. then blitz or block stratigically and the ball carrier may emerge from the cage enabling you to attack him. and when he does double even triple team him if need be to get the ball. but my best advice is always dodge away and attack only when you have the best chance of success, oh and by an apothacary as soon as you can. stick with them though as they will become all round players once developed, as i now ahave a ST4 witch elve and a thrower that can throw a long bomb on a 3, plus many lineman and blitzers with block and dodge. they are well worth the wait so persevere and you will be caining most teams soon.

ps oh and by the way welcome.

Well thank you guys, that helped me a little bit and I will try to Dodge me out of Danger next time. Against Orcs If I have to kick will always hurt for my 3lineman in the front but thats Bloodbowl :D
Hm...I will inform you how it worked out next game ;)
If some others have more info for me plz tell me

Try to get spps and skills as fast as possible on all players (especially the line-elves). Dark elves are good at getting spps (easy completions, etc.) so make sure you grab what you can get. You need to have a well developed team before you can hope to really compete (especially if you are new to the game or team).

I'd like to add my 2 eurocents too here...

When dodging away from your opponent, do it in a manner that you won't be "encircled" the next turn... You don't want your opponent blitzing you and then "herding" the blitzed player into block range for his other players.

Also keep an eye out for the werewolves and their frenzy. Don't put elves in a position where they can be pushed out into the crowd by a frenzy-blitz.

When dodging away and defending, remember that you're just prolonging the inevitable. A bashy, stronger opponent _will score (unless he makes a mistake). It's ok... it's not a loss when your opponent scores... it's only a loss when he scores more than you. :) Just hang around and hope for him to mess up, pass off down to one of your elves hanging out in your opponents half and the game has turned around completely. :D
