Ok one of my Beastman, has gotten his second skill (he can get G,St,Phy). Now I just need to figure out what to give him (he's got Horns, and I've given him Block).

I'm leaning toward a Strength skill, but am baffled what to give him.....should I stick w/ giving him a Strength skill or go w/ a reliable General skill? If so, any suggestions?

You might wan to take a look in the Tactics and team Development section of the forum for useful advice. Its usually also good if you give an idea of what .the rest of your team is like skills wise too. In answer guard is never a bad choice of skill

And, your first Beastman leveling should always get something like Sure Hands, or Pass on doubles. Chaos teams suffer from the lack of a developed ball-carrier, so if you could compensate, you should definitely go with it.

I absoultely disagree with this advice, unless your league really likes Strip Ball. Chaos will destroy teams with a running game, and they depend on everyone scoring for good skill development. If you absolutely feel you need Sure Hands early on, get it on a Chaos Warrior. 4 ST ballcarriers are a big advantage.

Well, I admit it has been a while since I played Chaos, but I felt at ease having one player with a normal movement, a St4 Blitz, who could pick up the ball and cage without causing a turnover :D

I guess this is all a matter of how you use CWs on chaos teams---

Over the last 2 months or so, I've built up 3 chaos teams in 3 different leagues, racking up about 40 games. Spreading the SPP's around is the key part to getting the skills you need to compete.

Suggested starting roster - 1 CW, 10 Beastman, 3 RR, 9FF. Buy an apoth after the first game, and go for CW's after that. If a beastman dies, replace him to get to 11. First 3 skills should be block on Beastman/CW. Take 2 claws, and then alternate claw and FA. Kick, Dirty Player, and Tackle are the next key skills, then go for Guard (on CW's).
