Digital images

Right, so I've got some minis, played around a bit with me paints, and bought the wife a digital camera for Christmas. My question now is how do I create images small enough to post?

Then load them onto a PC and resize them with any picture editing program. For an example how to do it with the Freeware Irfanview:
