What are Pro-Elves? How do they differ from the 3 varities available?

Pro Elves are a team in the style of the Elves from the second edition of the game. Back then, BB was said to have a more "cyber-fantasy" feel. The third edition of BB was made to match up with the fluff for the 4th ed. of WFB, and had a more comic feel. Player positions were often named after unit types in WFB armies - e.g. Lion Warriors, Phoenix Warriors etc.

JJ has decided that BB should be moving back to the 2e style, and the "Pro" Elf team are a step in that direction. They represent professional Elf BB players, rather than the state run teams represented by the HE and WE teams.

The team is now known as the Elf team, but when they were orginally mooted, they were known as the Pro Elf side, and the name's stuck on the BB forums as a way to differentiate them when talking about Elf teams in general (ie Dark, High, Wood and "Pro").

Pro-elf are...no background official team.

I'm thinking of starting a pro-elf team myself I allready made a roster. just need to find the mini's since I can't order them I'll have to convert them. probably gonna use 40k witches.
The roster looks like this:

This is the firs elf team with witch I managed to take 2 TRR's on the starting roster.

Long-eared pansies in tights. Avoid them like the plague!

They play well though. I think they are better than HE's and are less one dimensional than Woodies.

Possibly the most flexible Elf team yet.

Fast catchers, with cheap linemen. A very good combination. The throwers are a bargain at 70k and the Blitzers start with Block and sidestep.

An amazing team that will probably earn a huge following as time goes on.

I'm already won over.

It is a great team. I've just coverted the miniatures ( it looks real nasty them being all warhammer wardancers and two white lions a blitzers) and now I'm up for playing. Think it will be more fun than my last team, wood elves as they pro-elves are way more flexeble. They still are pretty fast a bit cheaper ( I could actually buy 2 TRR's my first time with an elf team).
But they still have the strength to make a stand also the catcher is ST 3 witch really helps.

I wonder whether they will eventually replace their non dark cousins on the official roster.
