BB my new love!

Post by Noctis »

Hiya!

Brand new player here! Just discovered the joy of BB :D

I am currently getting a Necromantic team, a friend kindly helped me put together. I was given an undead team, so just need to swap around some things for werewolves, flesh golems :)

So here I am waving saying hiya.

Thanks man :)

I've always been aware of the game when I started playing warhammer back when I was about 13 (I'm a bit over twice that age now *laughs* ) I found warhammer difficult in terms of movement etc.. so after the years and only last week, I found I have a natural abilty to see movements and creating plays etc.. Down to the fact I used to play rugby and still do martial arts, so I could think of plays, so it inspired me.

Always had a love for the undead, and even from my first game my friend said at one point "your not interested in scoring touchdowns are you"? 4 casualtys on his end, one knock out for me, and it was 3-2 in his favour *grins* not bad for a guy who is trying to "kill" the other team :D

Well I'm gonna find a section where I can post up my team, lets see what gems of advice I can gain.

Thanks! :)

Quick question *glows red* for each match do I need to rebuy all my team re-rolls? Just curious cos at 70.000 a pop that can be expensive to mantain a healthy amount of re-rolls.

Just curious, feel free to smack me :)

Hiya.

So I understand I regain them, at half time. Thats cool.

But what about the next game? If I was playing someone different do I need to re-buy the re-rolls?

*laughs* I have looked through LRB5, I'm not that lazy *chuckles*

No the rerolls are part of the team just like fan factor and players, so they carry over between games. It is worth noting that once you have played 1 game rerolls will cost you double so stock up early! (for most teams 3 rerolls is a good start)

Hiya.

Thanks everyone for the greetings, yeah I "think" I have the basics down, still a few teething problems (english isn't my strongest area).

I love the necro's :) I'll be picking up my fleshys and werewolves tommorow or on tuesday depends if I can get away from work early enough :)

Thanks again.

I'm lovin' my Necros... in their second season and, even though finding it tough against a surging, equivalent TV, Chaos team, they are 10 wins, 2 Ties and 2 Losses in their first 14 games and are averaging 14.36 SPP per game....

I started with 2 Weres, 2 Wights, 2 Golems, and 5 Zombies... 2 ReRolls

The team is currently fielding a Ghoul in place of one of the Zombies and has garnished enough winnings to replace a Wight, the aforementioned Zombie, buy two rerolls and has 220,000 in the treasury.... Both of my Weres are "Stars" now....

You'll find minor frustrations in later building and vs multiple 4 Strength players and Big Guys... though, with work and experience, you should handle them....

Use the search function at the top of the page and put in necro* this should get you all posts with necromancer in it and, hopefully, help your playing of this 1.5 tier team....

If you're talking about selecting figures for your team... there are a number of "Frankensteins" to choose from (search: golem) but I like the traditional "Frank" BB figs.... Good Weres are hard to find... I've been using a Wilhelm Chaney and a very wolfish fig from Reaper as well as two Reaper Gargoyles as my wights.... I'm using somebody else's painted, standard BB zombies....

BTW: I've got a couple of BB Frankensteins (old 2nd edition and a revised one) as well as an extra Wilhelm Chaney if you're interested in giving trade or coin....

For those about to die!; we resurrect you!!!
