With apologies to Robert Browning:

"And as the kick off whistle uttered,
You heard as if an army muttered;
And the muttering grew to a grumbling;
And the grumbling grew to a mighty rumbling;
And out of the dug outs the rats came tumbling.
Great rats, small rats, lean rats, brawny rats,
Brown rats, black rats, grey rats, tawny rats,
Grave old Plaguemonks and young friskers,
Gutter Runners, uncles, cousins,
Prehensile tails and pricking whiskers,
Families by tens and dozens,
Brothers, sisters, husbands, wives --
Playing Blood Bowl for their lives."

Yep, it's an all Skaven match up for me! :D
Updates to follow..

Hope your 2 Rat Ogres don't betray you this time, DW.

Good Luck ... watch out for the Gutter Runner with Dauntless ... he could get kinda nasty.

Oh, and your opponent doesn't remember or know. You can use a poisoned dagger attack by clicking on the armour roll button, punching in the armour value, and selecting the Poisoned Dagger box. Just in case he's doing them manually.

I loaded up the game for the first time to take a look at the new pics. I must say that Galak is the man. While all this work doesn't structurally improve the game, it does make it much more fun to play. I tip my hat to you sir.

Now bring on those Werewolves.

Me ..... I'll take fun over structure any day .... also give it time on the structure thing .... when you review the game log it makes a lot easier when you roll back and forward to tell what happened ... glancing at the pictures helps you get a quicker understanding of what happened during your opponent's turn .... since the pictures will change during the replay also.

What's this about:-

"....Dangerous Dave.... he might have a chance..."

The Samurai swords are out and my fans are up for it - check it out - 10 FF and a roll of 51 - so our section is sold out - your fans obviously expect a loss since only 37 from 13 dice bothered to show.

I think your fans are right not to show...

Said Gutter Runner had the audacity to stand one square in from the sideline with easy reach of a Rat Ogre.
"Heh Heh!"..thinks I.. "That's two 3D Blocks and you're in the crowd Pal!"
Blitz....
Treble Skulls...
Rat Ogre stunned...
Easy TD for Gutter Runner!

Here we go again.... :(

I'm really really thinking that the first skill for my Big Guys is going to be Pro instead of Block ... its a really tough call for just the reason that you just showed.

Pro is still a trait, right? It's missing from the list in the annual.

Yep...just double checked and had a look on the Fanatic site, Pro's a skill.

Confusion came from the fact that Pro was a trait in 4th, and it's missing completely from the annual.

well that running late handicap roll was good!! 5 of my foul opposition missing this drive, his drive as well, and he has nurglings that have armour 5 and go squish even when my skeletons will hit them, I just have to worry about that foul appearance thing going wrong on me.

just hope my bones aren't as brittle as last time. :roll:

Things have not started well for Da Squig Humpaz. I am playing a Lythancrope team that is 33 higher TR. He managed to get only 3 werewolves on the pitch for the first drive (I received in pouring rain). My handicap rolls were get da ref and stilleto. However, I have had 5 two die blocks and have managed only one knockdown and knocked myself down twice. I gave stilleto (RSC) to my best blitzer, who was SI'd with a niggler on his first turn. Now I'm down to 10 guys. I thought I would have the advantage with his AV7 vs. my AV9, but it hasn't worked out that way. Those werewolves are nasty with ST4, break tackle and mighty blow. Any suggestions? I don't usually foul but am beginning to think that I should at the start of the second half.

One of the keys to defeating a Were team is to target the "star" weres in their human form. 6/3/3/7 does not go very far with no skills.

Concentrate your blitzes if you can on nailing the AV 7 humans ... you can attrition the team this way if it works.

Turn 5 - 11 Khemri versus 6 Nurgles rotters he has a dead Nurgling and 4 players in the KO box, I have the ball and will hopefully wend my merry way to the endzone with my MA5 tomb guardian. surrounded by my rib-cage (apologies for the pun) :oops:

I can reach it without having to pass or GFI so I just have to keep a steady wall and stay on my toes and I should be OK to take a 1-0 lead into the interval
