Steam is having a sale

So, I don't get the chance to play Blood bowl outside the electronic editions, and I just started with FUMBLL a month ago, and have Blood bowl Dark Elf Edition. Is it worth it to get Legendary edition from steam for 10 dollars? That's my question.

Yes - it isn't perfect, but for $10 you can't go wrong.

Just downloaded it myself and I am a little excited... Goodbye real world, see you in a week or two! :orc:

That's quite a price reduction!

I was about to send the link about it to a friend and it seems to be with the big tag on it again.

It's still fairly cheap if you buy the physical game online - www.play.com has it for £9 (€11.50)

You should avoid Cyanide’s MM Naggaroth league like the plague though as just like arguing with an idiot playing there brings you down to those coaches level.

With FUMBBL down for a while on the Sunday I played 3 games (2 easy wins and a draw thanks to some missclicks a a couple of bugs) then had a big tournament game last night.

I played my worst BB in years, forgetting to declare a hand off in turn 2 which left my ball carrier wide open, messing up an OTT attempt by forgetting to fill a gap on the very 1st blitz and finally picking both down on a 2D block with my rookie lineman when I’d rolled a pow which lost me the game.

So stick to the organise leagues or the open league ;)

Is there a list or document describing the differences between the computer game and the miniatures version? I'd like to pick it up, but only if it's really Blood Bowl, not something that looks like it.

Cheers, Gary

I believe (though I could be wrong!) that it uses the Living Rulebook 5 rules set. Not played much tabletop yet but it seems to be fairly close from what I can tell (unless you're playing in 'Blitz' mode which is just too confusing for an old guy like me!).

From that, I'm guessing you won't be surprised when I say: you're wrong. ;)

BB1 uses LRB5.
BB:LE uses CRP (i.e. LRB6).

You don't know how much of a relief that is Darkson... I'd been thinking I'd have to 're-learn' the game before joining a TT league. Cheers for the good news! :orc:
