The league stages of Season II have just finished, with a goblin team topping the table with a fantastic 5-5-0 record (for goblins!) and becoming top seed for the playoffs in the Rookie season! A nice mix of finesse and bash, with 2 Chaos, 1 Amazon, 1 Skaven and 2 Wood Elf teams in the playoffs as well as the Goblins. A vamp team has also done well to reach the final stage! I can’t pick a winner from these teams.
In the Elite League, a lot less games have been played but the 4 team playoff has some great ties, and a potential rematch of last seasons Rookie final, where thesquig’s Undead defeated gken1’s Orcs. They are the top two teams in The Elite league and I’m sure gken1 would relish the chance for a rematch!
Once the playoffs have been completed, there will be a 2-week break before Season III starts. A lot of coaches joined but never played a game so I’m hoping that changes for Season III.
For the Elite III, It would be good if coaches who definitely want to be part in Elite Season III would PM any of the group staff and we can invite you in, or, posting in the forum topic. Please also PM me or post in the forum topic if you want to participate in Rookie III
For Season II I have had an idea (well its not been well thought out!). During the league, it might be cool to have a midleague mini tourney or an instant tourney. Not an idea set in stone, but might help the folk in the league keep motivated and give some of the smaller teams a chance to shine in the cup if the league play hasn’t been doing well (Liverpool anyone?

How do you feel the Season is progressing? Do you like the points for winning matches etc? Does it favour any teams in particular? Some of you have had problems playing with the Java Client, or connecting to the group chatroom. If anyone wants help with anything, then give me a shout, and I’ll see what I can do!
If you know of any TBB member who would be interested in this league then by all means get them involved!
If anyone would fancy the chance to be part of the group staff (not too much responsibility, issuing invites, setting up tournies etc) then I’d be happy to have more. Valen was on the staff but has taken a break from FUMBBL so if anyone would like to help out then give me a shout!
Anyway thanks for playing in the league, and hope next season is an even bigger success!
