Orc or Wood elf?

Hi!

I'm starting in a new BB league in Oslo (Norway) And I have a little problem.... what team to choose? The alternatives f
or a 1000k team are:

Orc team:
3blitzers
3Black or blockers (each with 6talent. 1tal=1spp each talent cost 10k. I'll choose block on them unless I get luck/unluck.
1trower
4linemen

I have 4ff (but If I am the only orc team I get additional 3ff) and two re-rolls.

Wood Elf team:
1wardancer
1cathcer
1thrower
8lineelf

Give me tips and tactic hints....

How can you start a team with extra SPP?
I assume you must have some extra house rules, what are they?
For starting roster check some of the previous threads as these question have been asked recently.
For tactics its a bit hard to say, depends on what you play.

PS. Where in oslo is this league you are joining?
I live in Drammen and it would have been fun to meet someone from Norway who actually play BB.

We use them on new players to make the team more exiting. So if you start with 1000k you can use some of them to make players with spp at the beginning. In our league there are many house rules since we think of the living rule book as a rulebook with many flaws.

You certainly chose 2 very contrasting teams. I like playing them both. In the end it comes down to your natural preference. Go with your gut on what you like.

If you like a finesse game take the woodies
(take the latter, nothing makes you happier than a S4 dancer)

I'm getting no way! Choises choises. I love killing 'em all, though wardancers are easyer to kill......

But then again the are so swift. I guess I have to play a few matches and see how I'll go.

That's the best way to find out what kind of team suits you best.

If there are a lot of new players, who are undecided, I'd even think about letting all players play a few ghames with different teams, so everyone has the opportunity to try and find his team, before the "real" league starts. That way they also get accustomed to the rules.

Today I played a game game with each team guess what... I won 2-0 with the elves and 2-1 with the orcs and I got three cas on one black orc......

Or by them both and play them both if your League allows and if you have enough cash! I can't believe how expensive figs are now.
