I'm about to face my sister's Chaos Dwarf team;

6 Blockers
2 BC
1 Troll
2 Hobgoblins

Any advice? I know that they can't pick up the ball, but I'm not likely to have enough players to do so either.

1) try to isolate the troll, make him roll really stupid rather than bonehead.
2) Target the hobs.

Without seeing the teams, the best advice I can give is to kidnap her barbie and tell her that she will never see it again if she fouls you.

How old is yer sister and what's she look like? I'm impressed by any chick that makes a cd team rather than the usual elf teams most girlz play with.

My wife plays an Undead team. Though she insisted on painting them Rainbow colored.

I don't know any girl that plays BB and then chaos dwarves. :o

What team do you play and how are the teams advanced, or are they rookie teams?

For general i would suggest to target the hogos. You might get some of them off pitch, cause they have only AV7.
If your team isn't a bashy team don't make follow up moves if it is not very important to put the opponents into tacklezones.

CD team

It's a rookie Dwarf team, which makes for a good match, but her BC's already have a couple of skills like Break Tackle. I don't have anyone fast enough to take out Bull Centaurs, and I can't break through her front line. I'll never be forgiven if I lose to her! (+ her barbie already has painted gore stains/bones poking through etc. She doesn't like it very much).

I would say try to kill the hobgobbo's and with a dwarf team you should be able to give them a fair game of bashing!!!

Keep the BCs busy with two Long Beards, Break Tackle or not, this is going to cost her rerolls over the time.
Use your Troll Slayers to frenzy through her front line.
ALWAYS try to block the Hobgobs or try to get in position to do this, so she needs to dodge (and waste more rerolls).
And don't forget: BCs and dwarves can handle the ball too. If a BC gets near the ball, try to free a Troll Slayer, just in case ...

Ok, now for the very secret trick: abduct her BC and Troll minis and threaten to return them "thermally processed". This works 100% (plus she's missing three important players). :D

hmmm, in view of the treatment she subjected her Barbie to, I'd say that you should threaten her to call and cancel her subscription to WWF magazine - that should allow you to keep her under control...
:D

We still don't know how old she is!!!!

I'm betting it's an older sister, just because she's realized the potential of a CD squad.

My advice: Enjoy the game and the fact you have a sister to play Blood Bowl with! Does the German saying "Blood is thicker than water" exist in English as well?

Yes it does, actually. We just didn't know it was a German saying.
