Enjoy him! Flaunt him in front of every other coach without a ST 4 ball carrier and make them drool with envy. :D

Honestly, though, just treat him like you would any other thrower. ST 4 means that he'll be harder for your opponent to take down, which is fabulous. However, he's still a thrower at heart and you should treat him as such, not trying to turn him into a ST 4 Blitzer.

Block should be his next skill, then Accurate. Dodge should be your doubles choice. This is the guy you want sitting in the middle of your passing pocket. Potential S4 Blodge/Sure Hands means there isn't much taking the ball away from him.

Or maybe you'll want to go the defensive Thrower route. Given that passers tend to stay in the backfield, it might not be a bad idea to give him Tackle or Pass Block.

In either case, though, I would definitely get Block for him ASAP to take further advantage of S4.

Agree with Cervidal.

Block, then throwing skills unless a double occurs, in which case, I,d be tempted by Strong Arm instead of Dodge.

Although it's not a bad idea to leave him on the field while playing defensively, I wouldn't bother giving him skills like tackle and Pass Block. With ST4, he'll cause turnovers in your backfield more often than you'd think.

And why not Nerves of Steel on a double ?! At ST4, this guy shouldn't be too nervous about being surrounded by people before throwing !

Agreed with respect to Strong Arm over Dodge. I think that ST 4 is enough, but with Block to parlay the ST 4 your Thrower should be fine. I think that the benefits of Strong Arm outweigh the benefits of Dodge in this case. My general feeling is that an AG 3 Thrower needs both Accurate and Strong Arm to be reiable at long passes/long bombs.

If we were talking about an Elven Thrower then I'd say to get Dodge after Block because the extra AG provides the same benefit that Strong Arm would to a Human Thrower. However, an Elven Thrower also doesn't need doubles for Dodge, meaning that I'd probably take Strong Arm/Nerves of Steel on a doubles roll anyway... :D

I would make him a runner.
Dump Off as a passing skill, Sure Feet on a Double.

Use him in a shotgun formation when you manage to break through the LOS with your Guards. Early block would be a waste.

I would use him as an offensive thrower, hard to take out. Much like a Dwarf runner! Let him be the one to do TDs, with the help of your blitzers.

I would pick Block first and then dump off, nerves of steel. On doubles dodge or strong arm. Since he won't be the one to make those long passes, maybe just dump offs? I would pick dodge before strong arm.

After block I would use him like a blocker. ST 4 and block is a nice combo, together with your guard blitzers he would be dangerous!

Oh sorry nerves of steel is a trait. The I would pick block at first then dump off, accurate. On doubles I would think hard before picking nerves of steel or dodge.

I'd make him a runner. Give him Block and on a double dodge. Additional normal skills are probably Accurate and Safe Throw.

Don't take Dump Off. With S4, Sure Hands and Block you aren't really worried about getting hit while you carry the ball.

I'd vote for Nerves of Steel on the catcher.

What does the Blitzer have other than ST 4? If that's all he's got, then I'd definitely take Block.
