Double on an Orc Blitzer?

Post by Diesel »

I have an Orc Team with 2 AG4 Blitzers as well as an AG4 Thrower.

One of the Blitzers just got his second skill roll and it was a double.

I have 3 BoB's with Block and all my Linemen have Block - one with Tackle as well.
I have tended to have quite a sucessful passing game with the agility combinations of the Thrower and Blitzers and wondered what you would suggest as the next skill on my Blitzer.
There are loads of options - Dauntless, Dodge, Frenzy, Leader, NOS, Stand firm and Side Step as well as the usual Guard etc.

What do you think guys?

Dodge or NOS

Reason: ''
Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Stand Firm is also an option, but a lot depends on your league. If there is little tackle then dodge is a better choice. NoS is also worth considering if you are playing a lot of passing (probably means the league is quite bashy).

This team is in the REBBL Challenge League so it has a wide variety of teams in it.

I have though about NOS and Stand Firm - chances are I will have to wait a loooong time to get another double on this character, but I think that I will probably go with Dodge.

Thanks for your comments guys.

I would certainly take Stand Firm... having a AG 4 Blitzer with Stand Firm - you'll be amazed what a pain that guy can be.... Dodge him early and its never a turn over.

At least that's what I'd do.

In that case, I'd take...um....Safe Throw (I don't want to face no AG4 orc blitzer... grrrr!

Dodge or Stand Firm are probably the best choices. Maybe Leap if you're feeling a little goofy.
