Based on the wealth of information you have given I advise

1 Injure more of his players than he does of yours

2 Score more touchdowns

If you do that then you should win.

I'd focus on nr2 (score more touchdowns) if you want to win and can't do both

Not knowing the teams it is rather difficult. But some tips;
1) protect your valuable players from 3D Block/Blitz by the big guys. Either ignore the big guys completely or keep them busy with cannon fodder. Have the big guys roll dice may end up in them doing nothing due to Bonehead/ stupid etc... which in turn will give you more freedom.
2) Target his goblin if he has one. Goblins are squishy and easily injured. Having him out means no nasty unpredictable dodger and no 1turn TD option with throw teammate.
3) Target other key players in his team. Either the elf if it is the main ballhandler with ag4, or any other player that you don't like (ie claw one if you play a high armoured team yourself). Don't forget Pact team doesn't come with block and only has av 8 on average... you should be able to clear some players if you roll many block dice.

I dunno, I think you're in pretty good shape - he's not min-maxed and has no claw, you do. You also have an AG3 bull...

With 3 big guys, its likely one of them won't do anything most turns, although he has been lucky with his Mino.

Assuming you get inducements, then I'd go for strength to try to out-muscle him. Zhaargh is imo one of the best value stars.

Thank you guys, unfortunately we have same TV, although Zzarg would have been a nice addiction.
I'll try to focus on his soft players and send the claw along with another 2 (guard) to block his ogre.
I'll let you know the result.

Give his ogre and troll a dwarf to play with. use the claw on the non block maurauders. kill the gobbo and the elf. He will break into your cage with the mino. when he does push him out and kick him in the head. Get BT on the centaurs ASAP.

Lost 2-1 but managed to kill his goblin at least, he took out both my bulls at around turn 14 and scored again..ah well no one skilled but has been a very fun game, well played both sides, for the next game.. LEARNED not to chase players with bulls near the edges.
