Going to Spiky on Sunday
I'm going to the Spiky open on the Sunday only, and may get a few games in, especially if there's drop-outs (thanks ace2k00). I thought I'd be taking a friends Skaven, but it's looks like I'll be taken "classic" Undead instead.
I'll have the following mini's painted and available to me:
2 Mummies
4 Wights
3 ghouls
3 skeletons
1 zombie
and 1.1mil to spend (tourney rules), normal TRR's and FF.
Having never coached Undead, and only played against them once, using the above rules, what would be a good roster to take, bearing in mind no SPP and 1 skill giving to 1 player after each game and all deaths/injuries ignored?

See ya there
I'm going undead aswell, although I will bring a Skaven back up side, just in case.
your possiable selection:
2 mummies
4 wights
3 ghouls
2 skellies
1 zombie
3 rr
blow the rest on ff
I expect most will look that way. I'd prefer Zombies too skellies though.
And 4 ghouls

Aaaah, the undead vs. the HE fraction! Only Orcs are missing, I guess, to complete the mass of teams. But I decided to take neither of these...
But Darkson, don't you find it risky to choose a team you didn't play so far?? or is this the fun about it??
Maybe it's because I do not seem to be a good player but I always need some time to adapt to some tactics which work for the team AND ME.
See you there, living or not.

I know a bloke who played Undead in a tournament recently. He hadn't played them in 3-4 years and had never won a game with them. He ended up winning the tournament....

8 Re-rolls ( 560k)
and FF 9.

PS: I'm taking undead to so it'll be cool if you could show up with a different team make up than me

Maybe you all are lucky and can go against each other with your undead...
....but then it would be fair to have the same starting lineup.
We should also make an upper limit for mummies too. There could possibly not have been sooooo many around and all playing bb, after all.
So one mummy for every four undead teams and each team gets the mummy once in four games, is that o.k. for you??
Or better once for the whole tournament???
But if you kill an elf, you may have your "personal" one for the reminder of the weekend!!!

By choice I'd be taking:-Sputnik wrote:But Darkson, don't you find it risky to choose a team you didn't play so far?? or is this the fun about it??![]()
1) Norse - unfortunately not painted.
2) Skaven - Mates team, but he coming down as well, so's taking them.
The Undead is the only other painted team in the club so I'm stuck with 'em.

But hey, it's just a laugh (though I will play to win) as I'm not in the tourney probably, and maybe I'll like them and play them regularly.

No, honestly, if there are guys out there who can win a whole tournament with any team even if the didn't play them before, THEY must be really good. I had to practice a lot and to convince myself the hard way that skinks shouln't even think about throwing...but it was worth it
