Ok, next question...
I just rolled double 5 for a blitzer....what to do..
i saw many people offer NOS or Jumpup as choices...
WHY NOS? At least it doesn't fit my playing style, i don't want to throw a ball to someone who is standing next to 2 or more players, he'll still have to dodge away...and chances for an intercept.. I just don't like it...
I was thinking more the hitting style...Mighty Blow? Guard? Movement? Frenzy?
(i want to develop witches as scorers, and already have a dodge-leap blocker)

Don't take skills trais that doesn't fit your play style, they are less usefull then.Cooper wrote:I just rolled double 5 for a blitzer....what to do..

Going the strenght/blocking way is good too, did you consider Dauntless as a possibility?
I think I'd take that to strenghten myself vs Black Orcs, Bull Centaurs, big guys and the like

Well, basically...i CANNOT PLAY with DarkElves...
I just played another game (i gave him mightyblow...couldn't read this before playing)
the game was against Goblins and i played 1-1 and lost (LOST!!!!) in casualties....2-1
that one casualty was because of teh mighty blow.
in 1.8 i could have scored the 2-0, but goforit failed into the endzone.
from turn 2.3 on, my first action failed...

How you develop your blitzers really depends on the your style of playing. The blitzers are the work-horses of a dark elf team - they have the most movement of any player on the team, so turn into varied forms of player with the greatest ease.
I see the witch elves as the most natural blitzer-types among dark elves: they start with Frenzy, but lack Block. Of course, the first skill you give a witch elf anyway is Block, so they immediately become blitzer material at this point.
So what of the blitzers? I agree that one should gain Dauntless... the witch elves have to follow up when they block and you don't want to do this against a Big Guy with AV7, so Dauntless belongs on a blitzer. (I'd back him up with a line-elf with Block and Dauntless... remember one guy is a target - two is a threat.)
Probably two blitzers become catcher-types... I'm quite fond of threatening to score in two turns and a blitzer with Dodge, Catch, NoS, and such skills threatens this fairly easily.
Finally one blitzer becomes a shadower with Dodge, Shadowing, Side Step, etc. Ideally this goes on the first blitzer to gain MA+1 but on the other hand it's not always easy to see where this is coming from.
Just some opinions!
