Ugh.
4 rotters not 6 is a help (does noone at Fanatic Proof Read?) but still not good. I was hoping for something a bit more different to the standard Chaos rules than this.

I'd be ashamed to use this team because I can't imagine losing with it. It's got the potential to both deny movement of the ball and cause vast numbers of casualties. Completely over the top and overpowered.

If the current chaos team is balanced tho D, how will adding 2 cw, giving all 6 foul appearance and a Super Bg , balance against 4 players having 1 less av. Especially if the Beast is not the one and only bg on the team. The beast is majorly broken, u cant blocking 16% of the time and u cant dodge in most cases (a st 3 lineman has to roll 3 better on a d6 to get away from the tentacles).

I'm still pushing for AV 8 on the Rotters either that or 120k for them.Marcus wrote:My 0.02 Euro

And like I said I have 3 different powered down Beasts I'd rather see.
I'll pass this by JJ/Andy and see what happens.

One thing not discussed is that the nurgle deam does not get an apoth. which can be a problem in the long run. I've played chaos and my first two games I had two beastmen killed and two Warriors injured as I did not have an apothecary. So if the armour is weakend, no access to regenerate (the Beast being the exception), no apoth, your team won't have a very high survivability. The only player who passes on the rot is the beast, and he has to kill the player to create a nurgler. And chances are...

I can't believe I got this mag (in Texas) before some of you guys. IT states NO APOTH for the Nurggles, though if the beast kills a player it is reanimated as a nurggle at the end of the game.
The no apoth rule is stated in the box where the team roster is broken down. Normal big guys and star players per chaos, but no apoth.
On a side note, do you guys think GW is going for Uber teams lately? I mean the Khemri, Vampire, Rotters, and soon to be release Ogre team kind of imply an increase on power level, IMHO.

Yeah, that's the point. For undead, you can reanimate dead players to make them Zombies, and 90% of the team has regenerate. As for nurggle, the Beast has to kill a player, he has to stay dead (apoth rolls a 1), and then you get another Nurgle. But when will that happen? In our league we have two undead teams which have acccumalated 3 Zombies in two seasons. A nurggle team would be lucky to get 1 Nurgle per season.Khrage wrote: IT states NO APOTH for the Nurggles, though if the beast kills a player it is reanimated as a nurggle at the end of the game.
Not very promising, considering the casualty rate in a normal blood bowl season..
So I'd agree with Galak that the team is

Then you're obviously not killing enough players
Just do what the dwarf team in our league did, kill a lineman in the 1st half to draw out the apoth, then kill the posistionals 2nd half
