Keep him.
What happens if your hobgobs are all mising? At least you've got someone with a better than average chance of picking up the ball, if only to stop yur oppo from getting it, and with AV9 and block as a starting point it's safer in his hands anyway. Just slowly work your way upfield for a last turn TD. Plus, dodging with any dwarf is always good, just for the look on your oppo's face

Not so much that all are missing but they may be off the pitch. Against a cd team i always try to get rid of all those hobs on the pitch. Watching a bunch of ag 2 mv 4 guys try to move the ball is fun and useful. Watching an ag 3 guy with block pick up the ball and get in the middle of a guard cage is frustrating. Usually all 6 cd's are on the pitch which leaves a max of 5 hobs, less if they have trolls or bc's or mino's.You've got 7 hobgoblins on a full team. I doubt they could all be missing at any one time.

Well, he wouldn't be the fastest thrower around, but if he manages to get the ball and reach the safety of the cage, it won't matter even if he has MA of 4.
BTW, in my suggestion for the secret weapons rules (http://www.talkbloodbowl.com/phpBB2/vie ... php?t=2266) there's a good solution for the AG+1 dwarven (among others) players: you can give the blunderbusses or the chainsaws to them as they'll be able to handle them better.

Never read the thread so sorry if this has been addressed but under the old secret weapon rules a player had to be purchased with it, not added later. I like the idea though. It was one of the 1st things that poped into my head when I read AG+1 Dwarf/CD. Sure hands and you're all set.

I understand your dismay, I have a snow troll on my Norse team, his first roll was the dreaded +1 AG, absolutley useless.
I think I read somewhere that there was a plan to change rules allowing you to take any skill on 4+6 and 5+6 roll on the skill table. Is this correct, or was I dreaming again.

That is the plan Valen. Hopefully it will be discussed this year (sounds like it will be implemented when its discussed, no guarantees). I may not think that an ag 2 guy with a +1 ag is all that great but i definately agree that +1 on an ag 1 guy sucks (tho i did end up with an ag 3 saurus once).
