I'd go with dodge, if you don't want that then strong arm.

What the unreadable scribble was ment to say was....5 linemen on the front line, 2 blitzers in the middle of 2nd line with a lineman in each wild zone, 3rd blitzer and thrower holding back. Have front 2 blitzers break through weakest wild zone with the aid of lineman there. Meanwhile thrower gets the ball and pass off to 3rd blitzer(or do a quick pass if your after spp's). 3rd blitzer runs down wild zone using 2 blitzers and lineman as cover.
I used this tactic last night against skaven and won 2-1. :D But the down side is that some how I ended up with 5...yes 5! players in the dead and injured box! :(

Outch ! That hurts !

Was it by fouling, or during blocks ?

Although I remember a certain Halfling team leader in the Casualties Record wilt 2 Niggling Injuries and 2 KO during their very first match against Undead !

It was all through blocks! It wouldnt have been so bad but in our last game I killed 3 of his skaven. He has started a new team this time with a rat ogre. Out of the 5 SI- 2 are ok, 1 miss's nxet game, 1 niss,s next game and has -1MA and the last is DEAD! In returne I could only KO 2 rats!!!!!
Best take out ive seen was at BB res'... a skink killed a treeman!! Or at least thats what I was told....."and here it comes! The most electrifying move in BB entertainment! THE SKINKS ELBO!"

Quite a gamble without block against a Norse team... or the guy is as lucky as an old Fenryll of mine...

Nevertheless, just hope the RO won't have block until next encounter. However, remember he can't have support for blocking, and that he must play it first in his turn.

And as soon as the bloody thing is on the floor... FOUL !!!!

He is VERY lucky with his rolls! He also forgot that his RO has frenzy, how conveniant  Next time we clash (may be this sunday) ill remind him. The RO also gained enough SPP's to get a skill roll and rolled a double and came out of the game with +1S, very nasty. Looks like I might have to resort to fouling the over grown hair'ball like you said.
Im sure big guy's couldnt gain skills? Maybe some one can clear that little rule up for me.

Big guys now gain skills normally, they can't gain +1ST on a double. That was the rule under the (now very old) 4th ed. I think you and your friend should brush up on the current rules.

They can get increases in ST, AG and MA as everyone else, ie roll 10, 11 or 12 on the skill roll.

sorry read this wrong. i see what you mean now. just normal progression. not like the old rules of taking a stat increase on a double cos of the restricted skill list.. :?:

That's an easy choice for a thrower isn't it ? Your first double and it has to be

STRONG ARM

You could make a real thrower out of him then !
