TTM as Defence

Post by Mike_Black »

Can I use TTM as a Defence and aim at an opposing player (especially the ball carrier)?
Or is there some rule in the LRB that says No to this tactic?

Remember it's not a turnover if your gobbo faceplants after the pass. You can use this to your advantage on defence by getting the gobbo diving tackle and pegging him down the backfield to mark the quarterback.

Also useful if he's got strip ball. Throw him at the cage then have him stand up (if necessary) and hit the ballcarrier.

we play half a spp for a completed ttm- not sure if that includes ball acrrying or not- the gobbo player in our league cheats all the time anyway- quite characteristic.

hello

Only a question, I know that if the pass is failed and the gobo fail to land and don't have the ball isn't TO but when the pass is a fumble, then the gobo fall in the same square ¿is TO or not?

Thanks

A fumbled TTM pass is a turnover regardless of whether you have the ball or not. Its only the landing roll that isn't a turnover.
