can a player with pro reroll his own failed armour roll?

under team rerolls it states a team reroll can never be used in this fashion - but there are no restrictions under the description of the pro reroll

if this has been covered previously I apologize but this just occured to me now.

my bloodbowl experience is mainly restricted to 2nd edition where rerolls could be used to reroll anything - or at least thats how we played it

You cannot use Pro to reroll either Armour or Injury rolls.

I'm not sure what the official rules say about this, but in our league we can use pro and team re-rolls in armor rolls, but not injury rolls in any way.

It's in the Pro skill decription in the LRB.
"This skill may not be used to re-roll armour or injury rolls."
It's not in the original DZ book, but it was covered in the Q&A in the Annual with the 2k1 change. Now's it's there in black and white in the LRB.

...is a crock of cheesy bushit....

Legal, maybe, but bushit.

"Even if I had infinite re-rolls, it wouldn't make a diff!"

Mojo ... WHY?

Heck in 3rd edition, on doubles an Ogre could LOSE the Bonehead trait.

So why the heck is cheesy to think that Pro shouldn't allow the possible re-roll.

Its not at all. If you allowed Ogres to lose Bonehead in 3rd, then Pro use on failed Boneheads in LRB is no big deal at all.
