How come do Norsemen Blitzers worth the same (90000gp) as Amazon ones whereas they have 3 skills (Block, Jump Up, Frenzy) instead of 2 for Amazons (Dodge, Block)?

But Norse have 60k TRR, rather than 40k.

IIRC its a hang over from "same costs as humans".

Yes, but still...

You could argue that Blodge is significantly better to start out with than Block/Frenzy/Jump up though.

In defense, yes, but as soon as the norse gets a skill he gets "piling on" and with jump up they are far better than amazon's.

some of the maths dont always add up in BB. Most odd things ironed out in playtesting because some teams just dont add up. Dont worry about it, play 30 games and I think you wil find every offical team is ok.

The Norse Blitzer comes in way under cost, which helps to make up for an overall pretty weak team.

Cost formulas aren't everything in Blood Bowl. Costs are constructed to create an overall team balance.

Exactly right. Compare the High Elf and Dark Elf thrower, or the Human and Orc thrower. Direct comparisons between teams aren't always the best way to look at pricing.

Exactly. When costing players you need to look at the overall team, not just the individual player.

Yeah ... and though totally off-topic ... that's exactly the reason why mixed teams tend to be unbalanced
