A few questions that came up...

Here are some simple questions that came up in our games that need some clarification.

1. When you assist a block, the book says the assister must be "adjacent to the enemy model." So if I have a player blocking with another model on the opposite side of the enemy model, and is not in any other tackle zone, he can assist correct? In this example the 3 models would form a straight line. In the book the examples show blocks where the two players from the same team are standing right next to each other.

2. Do you need a point of movement to pass the ball? Can you take your full movement, go for it twice, and still pass?

Thanks guys!

1. YES

2.YES.

Those dont really help, Your example in 1 is correct
and you can move your full ma and gfi to pass.

Wha?

You do not need a movement point to pass. You can pass after moving your entire MA, and even after GFI twice.

Page 13 of the LRB:
The player is allowed to make a normal move, and after he has completed the move he may throw the football
This implies that the player can move as far as he wants without question. For what I can see, there is no mention of needing 1 MA for passing in the LRB.

Hox-ii: I guess the confusion arose because you need a movement point to Blitz, there are some similarities, both being a move before the 'action'.

Anyway, no harm in asking.

The same confusion comes up sometimes in fouling. Which does not require the movement point.

not mentioned here; you don't HAVE to move if you want to foul, pass or even blitz.

well, you dont need to move to blitz but that is quite useless...if you dont need it, do a block...

I know, but sometimes you need to clear the path before moving

well, it was because you didnt mention after the action too!

Block and move is used a lot in fact.

I was thinking that you said, dont move, only block but this is your blitz...
