Interception????

Ok quick question. The other night I got a lucky break. A wight threw a long pass and it scattered, on the 3rd scatter it landed on my skaven thrower who made his roll to catch it. Is this an interception?? Do I get the spp for it?

The reason I'm asking is because in the living rulebook on page 14 its says that if the opposing team catchs a scattered pass he can dance around and scream INTERCEPTION. However in the interception section it fails to mention about a scattered pass.

So I thought someone here might know.

I'm afraid the dancing and screaming is all you get to do. You don't get to write down the two points.

Read pages 22 and 39 of the LRB, and you'll see you only get a true SPP-worthy INT if you succesfully make the "Interception Roll" as described on page 22.

You won't get any SPPs for that, but hey, that catching the ball is fun enough :D

You can ownly make an interception if you announce it, make the interception when the ball is flying form the passer to the one trying to catch it and you player stands in between or next to them! For this look if the square your player stands in can be seen through the range marker.

Then add modifiers to your catch. -2 for making the interception and the occasional tacklezone you're in (Nerves of steel is handy here).

Reading you're tekst you probably caught a bouncing ball with a +0 modifier and a modiefier for tackle zones you were in.

Just be :D about having the ball and score you're own touchdown!

No spp as people have explained above.
