Ok I have 2 Trolls on a Goblin Team... both have Block.
Do I take the +1MA or Stand Firm, or Frenzy? Or get crazy and take Accurate?
Does Accurate or NOS affect TTM??
Thanks...

I wouldn't go for the +1 Mv because, he wont be running around blitzing!! Stand Firm is always handy, but how about frenzy?? If you use frenzy well it could be a pretty hard hitting troll! Accurate is fun for sure, pretty cool idea, and I think you can use it on TTM because its a pass action!!

I Think I would take frenzy gives you another chance to take a player down!!

Normaly I would take Stand Firm with no questions. But since it's a goblin team why not have some fun and go for accurate.

For completeness... Page 23 of LRB:
If the monster has the Pass skill then he is allowed to re-roll the dice if he misses on his first attempt. He may also try to use the Pro skill, but he may not use Accurate.
So you can still go wild (and do like a proper goblin) and take Pass

Probably NOS on this guy, since it's doubles. In the meanwhile, do you have Pro on this Troll yet? If not it is certainly the most effective choice, allowing you a shot at rerolling TTM, Blocks, failed Really Stupid checks, and if I'm not mistaken Regenerate.
Speaking of Regenerate and Pro, there is another thread going that argues whether Pro should be usable during kickoffs or not. I agree with the consensus that the idea was to prevent Pro from being used multiple times in a turn not to make it illegal during kickoffs, but your opponent may disagree. Best to get a ruling from your commish, but in either case make sure your opponent knows how the Regen/Pro thing will be played before it comes up. Even if you don't Pro on your Regen rolls, it is a great skill for Trolls.
BTW, Accurate is specifically not allowed, but NOS does work on TTM.

The player may ignore the -1 dice modifier for enemy tackle
zones when he attempts to pass or catch the ball.
thats from the LRB as you can see it says passing or catching the ball and not a team mate
NOS does NOT work with TTM

I think you are mistaken but I better check on that since i have alraedy been wrong once in this thread.

I hope I am right this time though.

Well... it came down to Pro or Pass...
I decided on Pass, since it is just a crazy Goblin team to begin with...that and Pro is a easily attained skill... couldn't waste a Double on it. So we'll have some fun and see what Pass does for me...
Still having thoughts about Frenzy... but without Pro... that could get me in trouble.
Thanks for the help!!
Now what to do for my other Troll who has a niggle...

A good choice. One niggle isn't that bad yet, two would be a lot worse

Keep your troll as long you need him (until you have a chance to replace it with another troll).

No vote for leader?
It allows you to RR that pass anyway and can be usefull to any other player?
It is maybe less funny but a lot more flexible...
