Multi-block, frenzy and followup

All this talk of multi-block, frenzy got me thinking, and if it was covered in an earlier thread I apologise, but I couldn't see it.
A player has Multi-block and frenzy. Now, as we all know, frenzy and MuB can't be combined, but does the "must follow up" from frnzy still come into effect, as the player didn't "use" the frezy trait?

It's part of frenzy, so no, it doesn't come into effect.

According to the BBRC member i talked to, multiblock now can't be used with Frenzy. Frenzy is automatically on, and since multi and frenzy can't be used together, multiblock therefore can't be used.

Frenzy being always on means that if you start next to someone, you have to block or blitz him. It also means that you have to follow up and throw another block when making a normal block or blitz. It doesn't come into play when making a pass, doesn't come into play when using a chainsaw and doesn't come into play when making a multiple block either (which is not a normal block). If they want people with frenzy to be unable to use chainsaws or multiple blocks, they need to change the rules because that's not what they say at the moment. What they say is that if you use one of those things, you can't use frenzy with them.

I'd agree with that entirely.

No you don't. That's Wild Animal or old 4th ed version of the rule.

Is there some offical explanation available...Since frenzy is always on and can“t be combined with multiblock, lets say.. can a troll slayer pick the skill multiblock since he already got frenzy and dauntless???

He can take Multiple Block, but could never use it. So its a waste of a skill.

Glad I didn't take the skill on my mino now.
Takes away one of the choices for Trollslayers
Galak, could we have this added to the 2003 list for official clarification?
