I know all about the missing teams... But I heard that there was a chart that was smaller in the LRB then in the handbook? Can someone explain that to me?

That wasn't very helpful KGK.

Do you happen to know what chart it is? I haven't heard of any charts being messed up. The LRB is actually pretty good now.

The only thing I know that was messed up was that the rosters for Lizardmn, Norse and Amazons weren't in the new handbook for "space" reasons, but are in the LRB.

My question is which one is official? I mean if a friend of mine buys the handbook and doesn't own a pc then does he have the official rules?

Going forward the official rules for Blood Bowl will always be the latest Handbook and the latest Annual.

If you take the Handbook + the 2002 Annual you have all the official rules ... this is the way was meant to work and will always work going forward.

A very serious question....

How does this differ from the LRB? For a guy like me, who gets his stuff off the internet (not exclusively, I have beaucoup BB product in the house), and someone like Pariah's friend that doesn't; what kinda discrepancies are going to arise?

Not to mention when I show at the semi-local GW store, rulings, et.al., in hand....

:-?

The Handbook+Annual should always equal the LRB.

The only time they will not will be for the period between the Rule Review release and the printing of the Annual during which the formula would be:

Handbook+Annual+Rule Review=LRB

Basically as you can see from the formula above the LRB is meant to always be the latest version.

Now my two cents .... Andy should not have updated the LRB 2.0 to include the Rules Review until they were printed in the Annual 2003. By doing this he's created a printed version vs online version difference. If he would have waited then the printed version would always match up to the LRB which is how it should be. However, I'm on pretty heavy record for loving the concept of the LRB, but having some major issues with its execution.

Ahhhhhh!

This makes sense :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

Agreed, also, that the cart is in front of the horse for now.... :-?

IF you don't mind summarizin'; what are the "execution" problems that you refer to...?

If not, eh, no problem....

Was the Way of Nature;
And, before that, The Void.

How to get the Most Official Rules

LRB 2.0 is the most official set of rules to date - it is more recent than the Handbook - hence more 'official' as it has included the latest round of BBRC decisions.

You would also want to get your mitts on the 2002 Rules Review(3 pages, available in MS Word format)

There are a lot of handy Q&A which are also official and clear up a lot of quiestions which have been raised here over the last 12 months from the LRB 1.3
