Armour rolls on failed 'go for it'?

Hi,

Just want to clarify a rule. In the 1.3 RB it states that you always take an armour roll if you are KNOCKED OVER.

When you fail a Go For It?, it says the player falls down and the turn is ended. So the other coach does not get to make an armour roll for a failed Go For It?

Likewise, in the section on throw teammate, it talks about the thrown teammate taking an armour roll if he fails his landing, but it does not say anything about an armour roll if the thrower fumbles him. So again no armour roll?

Thanks,

Malcolm

These needs clarification in the rules, but yes you should make armour and injury rolls.

Armour rolls for both are needed. This is wording in the LRB that will be cleaned up over the next several months. Probably a BB Mag or BB Annual will have all the clarifications.
