Suggestions for my next skill... (Amazons)
Amazon Blitzer...right now she's gotten so far, +1 MA and Stand Firm, so she's sitting at:
7MA, 3ST, 3AG, 7AR, Dodge, Block, Stand Firm...any suggestions on what her next skill should be? I was thinking something like Guard.

Hope and pray for + ag or + st.
Since she has gotten ekstra ma. its worth considering the player as a sacker or scorer.
Skills such as leap, strip ball and pro is allso worth it.
(ofcourse i dont know the rest of your team so you may have players with the right skills)

Shadowing
With Stand Firm this player could not be blitzed off of a ball carrier. Park her next to who has the ball and the opposition either has to knock her down or dodge away; the push result just won't cut it. At MA 7 you stand a good chance of holding onto many ball carriers, especially for Orcs, Chaos, Undead, Dwarves, and the like. You even have a fair chance of holding onto the super-fast ones as almost none of them will ever have MA over 9.
Tack on Tackle as a fourth skill down the line and you've a truly nasty defensive player.

You want to play to MA+1 and Stand Firm. Here are some options:
* Guard: Plays to Stand Firm, not so much to MA+1. Sre, you have extra range for the player, but if she's always mixing herself up in scrums, it's kinda wasted.
* Tackle: Good for a long-range blitz. Of course, Stand Firm kills your Blitz action if you fail the Dodge roll, so it's not as good as it sounds.
* Shadowing: This is my suggestion, but it depends a bit on your league. You won't be able to shadow well against MA9 freaks, but you'll have the advantage vs MA7 and a sizable advantage vs MA6. With Stand Firm, you can't be pushed away once you lock onto a player.
I'd definitely go for Shadowing. This player would become a big pain in the arse for your opponents. And with Amazons, you don't get many opportunities to take Shadowing with MA7!
Good luck.

Shadowing is General
One of the useful things about Amazons is that they all start with dodge, which is an Agility skill. It makes for a lot of useful possible combos for their players. By contrast, a team like the Norse, they all start with a general skill that they all probably could've gotten on their first skill roll anyway.
