In my opinion, and its just my opinion. if u dont knock them down then u cant injure them, so its always good to have a few people that can knock down as many as possible.

P.S. I forgot the Demonspawn start with one st 4 with tackle.

My HE team has a Lineelf with ST4, block, leap and tackle.

His tackle is necessary. How else are you suppose to knock down war dancers or dwarf runners with dodge and sorrunded by guard?

Most ball carriers in our league has dodge (and several ST4), so you havr to have tackle. It is not bad team development!!!

But even if teams have one or two tacklers, you can play your game so that you do your best to play them away from your important blodgers.
Even against a dwarf team my dwarven dodge players managed to use their skill several times to keep standing, which was more than worth it.

Still, if my league would take tackle almost every time they can, then I'd probably go for Stand firm...
